OK I'm always on the lookout for new place so was glad to come across Di Marko's. Now I must say what I absolutely loved about this place was its decor, a great dark wood panelled full length counter, dark wooden tables and chairs etc. Just adds something, a certain old timey ambience that other Cafes lack. I find this style very comfortable, much more than the modern breezy style. Was just going to get a takeaway coffee but then I saw scones. Scones! So I was obviously dining in. Next time you're in Bentleigh, venture off the main road and into this homely sanctuary. Mark is so warm and welcoming, all the while whipping up delicious treats in his compact kitchen.
