South Delicious Dumpling — Restaurant in Melbourne

I'm so happy I discovered this restaurant! It was a Friday night and I didn't know what to eat. I walked in and I had no idea what to order for takeaway. The guy who greeted me was so happy and friendly and talked me through the menu. I chose some chicken dumplings and a chicken curry. He agreed to make the curry mild, which suits my taste. When I got home to eat my dinner... WOW! The food was delicious! After I finished my dinner, I called them up to thank them for making such delicious food. It's very rare to find a restaurant that offers great value, delicious flavours and fantastic service. I can't wait...

We had just had a rough morning and was at the doctor to get my daughter attended to. It was getting late (2pm) when we rush into this restaurant as it was next to the Chemist. We were greeted by a very lovely young man. He told us his dad had been cooking at restaurants for over 40 years - so plenty of experience there. We order 5 dishes for takeaway and we're served tea while we waited. The order was finalised after about 12 minutes, which is pretty good for 5 dishes. Awesome little place in the shipping centre where Aldi is. Great service and very friendly.

Ordered during the peak period when they were busy with take away orders but it was worth the wait for their dumplings. Strongly suggest you ring ahead if you are after take away to avoid the wait.

Dining room has a cool design in the walls and feels like a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the meal, we'll be doing that the nice time we come.
