Dumpling Halley in Doncaster Shopping Centre has become a go-to spot for me and my friends, as the dining experience here never disappoints. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes, all of which are consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients. From the delicate dumplings to the hearty noodles and flavorful soups, every bite is a delight. One of my personal favorites is the Shanghai noodles, which are perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Xian long bao is a must-try, as each dumpling is filled with a burst of flavor and savory broth that is simply irresistible.
Despite the popularity of the restaurant, the prices are quite reasonable compared to other dining options in the area. The service is always efficient and friendly, with the staff managing to seat us in a short amount of time even during busy hours. I appreciate the quick service and attention to detail that the staff provides.
I highly recommend trying the pan-fried dumplings, which are crispy on the outside and filled with delicious ingredients. The beef stew noodle soup is another standout dish, rich in flavor and guaranteed to warm you up on a chilly day.
Overall, Dumpling Halley in Doncaster Shopping Centre is a gem of a restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic and mouthwatering Chinese cuisine. Whether you're a fan of dumplings, noodles, or soups, this place has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this...
Read moreIt was my first time and will definitely NEVER EVER go there again or recommend anyone to go there. WORST HORRIBLE customer services I had experience. Food is alright. Its my right to ask if your food contain allergy ingredients. The boy seem to be dont understand my question and keep saying sth in Chinese, pls DO NOT make an assumption everyone is Chinese. Be more professional. Then he called out a girl, she doesnt seem to be happy when I ask about the ingredients. Very impolite and rude attitue. As I have already put through an order so didnt want to cancel it eventhough it contains the ingredients which my kid will have reaction to it but I can still have it. Waited for almost 30 mins, nothing come out. I went in and check as I saw ppl who came after me had their order out. Look like they cancelled my order without telling me and I had to tell them to make the order. Compare to other shop in the same shopping centre, their food might be not as good as yours but their customer service is...
Read moreDay or night, Dumpling Alley is always chock full of humans eating away so there must be something good about this place.
☀️The sunny bits: For a super busy eatery, their service was surprisingly friendly and efficient. The food touched down on our table in record time. We had the spicy Szechuan chicken ribs which came with peanuts, fried chillies and cute fried braided dough. This dish was amazing. I loved the crunchiness of every ingredient but it could have done with more spice. Next was the shepherd’s purse rice cake. I had no idea what to expect as it looked quite simple. Fortunately it was delicious. The savoury sauce was fantastic with the rice cakes.
☁️The cloudy bits: It can get squishy as there is limited seating. Fortunately it looks like they are expanding next door. Some seats are in the middle of the shopping thoroughfare so don’t expect any privacy if you happen to be seated there.
⭐️The forecast: Dumpling Alley is right...
