Era Ora Mornington Restaurant Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Worst breakfast in Mornington. We are locals and eat out for breakfast once a week, we hadn't been to Era Ora before so decided to give it a try, great location on a beautiful day but that is where the positives finished. Asked about the waffles only to be told they weren't made in house but bought, so gave those a miss, pretty poor for a cafe not to make waffles from scratch. We put our order in and it took 45 minutes for the food to arrive, we weren't alone all the tables were waiting a ridiculous time for breakfast to arrive, lots of grumbling could be heard. Husband had eggs, bacon etc and their special potato scones (more like doughy tasteless hockey pucks) wasn't a big fan. I had a BLT with "avocado" that was definitely not sliced avocado more like avocado dip. Poor quality ingredients I barely touched it. After being informed about an indeterminate wait on food 15 minutes after having entered the almost empty restaurant, I continued to wait 45 minutes for a BLT, an item I would expect the be one of the fastest to turnaround. Excellent cafe, food was generous and very good, the coffee was Little Rebel which was delicious. But what really impressed me was the staff and the business philosophy of right thing by customer.
