Amazing Buffet Alert !!
Has an amazing spread of fresh dishes stored in a buffet style, piping hot I may add. Service was amazing, Aathira made us feel at home.
Pepper Chicken - Takes the top spot. Easily the best pepper chicken I’ve tasted in any restaurant in Australia.
Chicken Biryani - So good to finally find some authentic South Indian style biryani.
Goat Curry - Tasted like Nihari, was rich and the meat was cooked very well. Paired up this with the plain rice and a little yoghurt to experience heaven on earth.
Paneer Butter Masala - Yes yes, I’m talking about the vegetarian side of things as well cos holy heck, it was amazing. Not many times do I go out and seek paneer when there is a huge spread of Non-Veg food.
Fish and Chicken - 65 Very good. Only recommendation is that they cycle it after a while especially chicken, because it becomes soggy.
Kesari - man, the sooji was soooooo soft. Felt like eating mom’s kesari back in India. Tasted soo good. Loved it.
Bread Halwa - Biryani + Bread halwa is a goated combination. Bread halwa was good.
Custard and Fruits - would recommend adding banana to the list of fruits. Just increases the taste by that much.
Overall brilliant place, would definitely go...

I finally decided to check out Eton after seeing so many glowing reviews, and wow – what an experience. For $21, you do get a decent variety, but hey, who needs quality and taste when you have… quantity, right?
The food? Imagine opening your fridge, grabbing leftovers, and giving them a quick spin in the microwave. That’s the flavor profile we’re working with. Everything tasted like it had been on an extended vacation in the fridge before being reheated just for me. Vegetarians, rejoice – you have plenty of options! Just be prepared to eat them all with plain rice and roti,
I heard a lot about their famous rasam – rave reviews, mind you. I tried it, and… it tasted like slightly seasoned water. A culinary masterpiece, if the goal was to confuse your taste buds. But credit where it’s due: the masala chai was actually pretty good. The only downside? I felt like I had just shelled out $21 for a small cup of tea.
So, if you’re curious about Indian curries and just want to sample what they might taste like (without actually enjoying them), Eton...

Additionally the curries we got didnt come with any rice. The lady servicing us didnt let us know we have to buy rice separately or anything. Just let us buy the curries with no rice, then told us it would be a min 20 min wait to order rice!?
We could literally hear their microwave going and dinging when done… im not paying $20 for a small curry without rice and no cutlery to have my food microwaved like a quick meal i buy from coles!
Then the actual food it self! Really poor, in my chicken masala i got 3 small ish pieces of chicken and mostly just the slop of the curry, there was both bones found in my and a mates meal as well as this weird black inedible rectangle that tasted like bark in my curry. The chillis in my curry were literally cut in half and thrown ontop…
I would have felt ripped off even if they gave me their...
