I heard from many of friends and family members do not buy from India at home because their products cheap in quality and prices are very high But I just thought while going back from metro to home that just buying a yogurt might not make that difference, letās get it.
But this shops proved all the bad reviews own itās own. First of all price difference was 4$ and when I opened the yogurt bucket, itās full of fungus. We decided to return that item immediately before shop closed.
We were at the shop at 09:45 .i.e 15min before closing. They lady at the counter waving her hand that go away we are closed. Very disappointingš We asked to open and just return the item, she said āplease come tomorrow, I canāt do anything tonightā.
Then when we just said we are okay to pick another good yogurt quick. But then I realised all the yogurt buckets at the freezer were almost a month expired and same full of fungus. At the same time that lady was keep enforcing to go back and come back tomorrow, she said ādoesnāt matter you are on time but our clock is 15min aheadā Such a terrible customer service on top of worst product.
Even though this shop is on the to my home, I wonāt be going to this shop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn April, 2022, I bought over $70 worth of curry pkts for fish and poultry plus an assortment of spices and condiments. etc. I travelled by train the 125klm from Gippsland just to shop at India at Home. Today, 7 months later, I decided to cook a fish curry. On checking the Best By / Use By dates, I discovered almost everything I bought was out of date the month before in March 2022. Some were out of date in 2021 and 1 item was out of date in November 2020. I am just so disgusted that this business would sell out of date products for human consumption at all, let alone at full price. Coles, Woolworths, ALDI and the other grocery sellers in this country would be prosecuted and fined huge sums for doing such a thing which has the potential to cause serious health issues. I will never shop at any India at Home store again. If i could give a minus rating they'd get minus 10...Not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely the worst customer service Iāve ever experienced. The staff at India At Home Clayton are extremely rude and lack basic manners. They talk to customers as if weāre trying to get things for free, not as paying customers. Their attitude is arrogant and unprofessional ā from the way they speak to the expressions they make when they see customers. There is no sense of respect or courtesy. Itās clear they havenāt been trained in how to deal with customers properly. On top of that, Iāve come across expired products being sold, which is completely unacceptable. I seriously urge the owner to train the staff in basic customer service and respectful behavior. This is by far the worst store Iāve ever been to, and I would never recommend anyone...
