I recently visited Fayrouz Cafe, and while there were some highlights, the experience was a bit uneven.

First and foremost, the desserts at Fayrouz Cafe were exceptional. Each treat was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The selection showcased a high level of skill and creativity, and it was clear that a lot of thought went into the menu. However, this was where the positives largely ended for me.

The wait time for our order was frustratingly long. We were prepared for a bit of a delay, but the extended wait significantly impacted our enjoyment. It would have been much better if the service were more efficient.

Unfortunately, the coffee did not meet expectations. It was weak and lacked the richness and depth that one would hope for. Given the high standards set by the desserts, the coffee was a letdown.

Adding to the disappointment was the knafeh dessert. I was particularly excited to try it, but it fell short of the mark. The texture was off, and the flavors didn’t blend well, which was surprising given the cafe’s strong track record with other desserts.

In summary, while Fayrouz Cafe excels in its dessert offerings, the slow service and subpar coffee, along with the disappointing knafeh, overshadowed the overall experience. It’s worth visiting if you’re a dessert enthusiast, but be prepared for some inconsistencies in...

Today's breakfast didn't go as planned. We ordered too much food and had to take some home, but we left it on the table by accident. When we called the restaurant to get it back, the person who answered was really rude. They said they threw away our food because it could be unsafe, even though it had only been a short time. They accused us of being mean, which was confusing.

I asked for the manager's contact info, but they wouldn't give it to me. I even asked for their name, but they didn't tell me that either.

Our group spent around $100 there, but the staff's bad attitude makes us not want to go back. I think the owner should know about this, but it seemed like the employee we talked to didn't care at all. It's a one-star experience for us.

In the end, we couldn't help but feel that the owner of the establishment should be made aware of the incident, as it could have a significant impact on their reputation and business. Regrettably, it seemed that the employee we encountered was indifferent to the potential consequences of her actions, leaving us with a sense of disappointment and disbelief about the...

Had been planning to check this place out for a while, called up to see if they take bookings and they said they were fully booked, walk in only. I said that that was ok but wanted to know if there was actually a chance to get a table if I walked in, given they were fully booked, and was told “I don’t know” as if this was a sufficient answer. Then some other person takes over the call and tells me in the most dismissive and disgusting tone that I can’t get a booking and have to walk in. I patiently explained that I lived over an hour away and didn’t want to come if there’s completely no tables available and was just wanting to check. The person speaking was so incredibly rude, was yelling at me and had absolutely no manners. Dismissed my question and hung up the phone, despite me being polite and patient. Wouldn’t even think to come eat at a place where such vile people with no decorum or manners work. People seem to forget that running an eatery is equally about the quality of service as it is about the quality of food. Wish I could give 0...

Of all the Lebanese/middle eastern cafes I’ve tried in the north west (Terry’s, A1, Manoushi, Cedar etc etc) this place is the clear front runner. I will admit I’ve only tried their savoury dishes however everything is always so fresh and delicious, every single time I visit. They do not skimp out on ingredient quality and the portion sizes are great. I barely ever take food home from a restaurant as a matter of principle but I just could not finish what we ordered on my last visit (my future self was very thankful 😌). The coffee is really good too, whatever roast they use is absolutely delicious. I will at some point give the dessert bar a crack, but as it stands I simply cannot waste my calories on sweets… I MUST to fill my stomach with their delicious Haloumi, Sujuk and Zataar bread. I am so bloody happy I stumbled across this place.

I'm not sure why, but we assumed we would be safe at midday to indulge in some skewers, maybe have a Fattouch Salad for lunch. Unfortunately, that joy was only available on the menu from 5pm onwards. From the 7am-2pm menu, both of us opted for the Middle Eastern Brekkie. The portion size was generous, but the poached eggs were overcooked and the sujuk and grilled halloumi were cold. However, the beetroot dip was incredibly delicious! My long black coffee was perfectly brewed, and the mixed Baklava I took away was delightful. The service was okay. We are eager to return in the evening and explore the menu starting from 5pm. We also look forward to trying more Arabic Sweets.
