Pho Ben Thanh — Restaurant in Melbourne

I ordered the banh canh cua (crab noodle soup) which was absolutely delicious! Best I've had so far at a restaurant, highly recommended. The beef pho here seemed pretty good as well from the little bit that I tasted. Customer service was also very nice.

Only thing I would comment on is their instore and printed menu don't display the price of the crab noodles. To my fault, I should have asked since I actually assumed it was around $17 - $18 like the other noodle menu items. Turns out it's $22 I believe if...

We went for a nice walk with the dog along the CS Lake and then stopped by here for dinner. They have outdoor seating so our dog was welcome to sit with us while we enjoyed our dinner. The Bun bo hue was great, full of flavour, good quality meats and the broth was perfect. Vegetarian options were great. Pho was good however I would recommend the Bun bo hue instead. Oh my gosh how have I not found Ben Thanh Pho earlier? I am Vietnamese and particular about Viet traditional food , this has the best Bun bo Hue ( my usual go to is St Albans)! Hubby dish was incredible too and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We were here at 8:30pm on a Monday night. I cannot quote on the atmosphere because clearly they should have been closed by now but the place stayed opened for us. Thank you! It was super clean, friendly service and food was on point.
