Ferguson Plarre's Bakehouse - Burwood — Restaurant in Melbourne

We collected a huge selection of the Christmas range from our closest Ferguson Plarre on the weekend to ready ourselves for Christmas and several family events we had planned.

For a kids ( and secretly adults) we ordered the Elf Drip Cake which was a tall cake, wonderfully decorated with layers of mud cake and frosting and a chocolate grenache topping. We also could go past a half dozen of the mixed vanilla and chocolate xmas cup cakes so cute.

If I had my way we would have ordered only fruit mince pies as these are my favourite xmas item but I was encouraged to try the lemon tarts and caramel chocolate tarts as well.

Lastly we ordered a traditional Christmas cake which will be good beyond Christmas Day and a DIY ginger bread house for my creative nephew.

All up a great selection of tasty treats. We picked these up first thing on Saturday and they were all ready and it was a really easy way to cater our Saturday...

I went to this store for the first time today, wanted to buy a Orange and poppy seeds cake which we buy regularly. The big guy was so rude because I questioned on why the cake wasn't in plastic and what's the expiry date. I needed it to be packed to take it to a friend's place. The guy there was so rude and his version that we don't do it at this store and I asked for a refund to which he says I can't give you a refund. The payment was taken well before the cake was shown to me. The lady there was calm and helpful and asked if I want the cake in the plastic but I was put off by that guy's attitude and didn't want to deal with this store. The guy wanted to have a last word and made sure he doesn't miss an opportunity to disrespect me (in front of my 2 kids). Never ever...
