Fresh Chilli Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

Not a good experience at all. Went out for dinner with hubby. We were finishing our meal. Last order was taken at around 9:30 pm before kitchen closes. It was 9:35 pm and we ordered a takeaway box and we weren't even allowed to properly finish the last morsel on the plate and the waitress was literally standing on our head and breathing down on my plate, that too twice within a matter of seconds to clear the table. Not a good ethic hospitality-wise and customer service-wise. I even told the waitress that I haven't finished my food yet, she giggled and took the plate still. It's not like we were the last ones inside and holding up their restaurant closing time. A few more tables were sitting there and anyhow kitchen close time doesn't mean restaurant closes immediately. At Least let the customers who are paying for the food and experience of being in a restaurant eat in peace. The staff should be really told how to behave...

Food is great at this place when you dine-in, however I sincerely wish it was presented in the same quality when you order it takeaway. I ordered from here for the first time using UberEats and it took about an hour and a half for it to be ready for pickup. The food was poorly packaged and oils had soaked through the brown paper bags they used for packaging, mind you this restaurant is about a 5 minute drive maximum to my house. The most disappointing thing was the seafood platter that cost about $12, but I received a pathetic handful of small fried pieces - what a complete ripoff! I've taken this up with UberEats already. The price of the food to the portions provided is a complete rip off - my entire order was $65 and it was so small (see picture below). Had a dinner with family of 6 to celebrate father's day. Booked table but disappointed with the location by the door instead of windows and it was so cold. Secondly, food was extremely bad with no quality. Ordered just 3 dishes but it was full of sugar. Coconut juice - high in sugar. Super disappointed dinner experience! My friend highlighted to one of the restaurant's staff but he's just don't know or understand what we are trying to tell him instead telling us why didn't inform him about the bad taste of food after 2 bites, just not making any senses!! Please teach your staffs on how to manage customer complaints. Understand what the customer is trying to tell before interrupting and providing replies that make no sense. Just want to feedback and will never come...
