A group of 10 of us recently went out to celebrate a co-worker’s birthday. Unfortunately, the overall experience at this restaurant was very disappointing.
Firstly, the restaurant does not allow bookings, so we had to take the chance of showing up as a large group. Once seated, the issues continued. I had brought along a birthday cake for the celebration, but the venue refused to provide a knife or plates to cut it. They also mentioned they did not have a lighter to light the candles. On top of that, we were told we would need to pay $3.00 per person if we wanted plates to share the cake. I was willing to pay the extra, although it now became all about the principle. Staff were reluctant to provide any extra cutlery or napkins, which felt unaccommodating and unhelpful.
This was especially disappointing considering our group spent over $500 dining there. At no point on their website, nor in person, was it mentioned that there was a “cake corkage” fee. For a special occasion like this, we expected better service and basic hospitality.
Overall, while we enjoyed the company of friends, the service and attitude from the restaurant left us very dissatisfied, and I would not recommend this venue for group...
Read morei was very hopeful of this being my new korean spot but i was utterly disappointed by the food.
we ordered the jjajangmyun and fried chicken (bone in). in another review they stated that the jjajang noodles were too soft and not so flavourful and i would have to agree. if you love your noodles al dente and the burst of umami flavour that jjajang brings, this isn't it. the chicken was even more disappointing because it was fried perfectly crispy and juicy but the taste... it tasted like old burnt oil.
it made me feel sick how greasy tasting it was without it not actually being oily, i stepped outside for fresh air and came back to only smell the restaurant full of old oil smell.
the pros was that the service was great, very kind! the food is also pretty affordable in todays economy, and my favourite thing about the restaurant is that they have prepackaged banchans and meals.
i would love to say i will give this place another try for other things...

Conveniently located just opposite from Aircraft station with a green colour front (the entrance is at the back though). There are parking at the back of the restaurant too, for those who drives.
They serve make to order dishes. The service is great and casual, a family friendly atmosphere. Pricing is not bad for the food. Oh they have a refrigerated section at the back of the restaurant which you can pick up traditional Korean side dishes and various kimchi to take home.
The food is fresh and filling, also not too salty. The blood sausage soup I had is not for the faint hearted. It has pig offal and other part. However the rest of the food that I tried, they are seriously delicious!
If you are in the area or just coming home from work. I highly recommend to stop...
