Place was smoky, as though the kitchen exhaust wasn't working. Service was dreadful, waiter seemed overwhelmed with others, ignored some of us.  Owner rude and abrupt when I tried chatting.  Shouldn't treat people with contempt. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Would never go there again.

Reply to owner: A condescending reply because I told it like it was. I did not wake on wrong side of bed and was happy until you treated me with contempt, rolling your eyes because I asked what types of milk you had (because my mind went blank, which I told you) and then ignoring my attempt at friendly chat with you and being so abrupt with me that I just said forget it and walked away. I wouldn't have said anything about the poor waiters lack of service (some of us never got our orders taken) and was happy to come up to the counter to order.  Saying  everyone else was happy with your service is incorrect as some others in the group agreed it was poor.   I cannot comment on the food as my order was never taken so never got any. If the service was so good why did Tabatha apologise? She said she normally helps serve but was too busy making coffees. Don't blame me for telling it like it is. You need to treat your customers with respect.  I am a regular cafe goer and reviewer and have never been treated like...

What a joke!! We arrived at 1.51pm to be told by an arrogant guy “we are done” My husband didn’t hear what the guy said and proceeded to ask for a table for 3, to be told again “we are done” by the same guy who just kept walking. Absolute rudeness! Little do you know mate, we were only after 3 milkshakes that my 5yo daughter wanted to do for Mothers Day!! Not only have you shocked us by your rudeness but my 5yo is completely blown away with how rude a shop man can be!!!! We will never return!

We hope you treat your mother better on Mothers Day mate!

Your responce is proof that you’re arrogant! We didn’t see a closed sign at all, infact I don’t believe there was one! Clearly neither did other people that came in behind us or even 5 mins later when we saw people walk in as we walking back to our car. A simple polite interaction would have been appropriate from a business owner. Have a conversation, explain things nicely Treat people how you’d like to be treated. You’re a very rude man and I’d hate to think what your like to work with! My 5yo daughter hasn’t stopped talking about you all day! We didn’t see your closed sign, don’t think we deserved your rudeness. I like how you have taken the bad reviews down on FB. We will be sure to spread the word...

Was there today getting a quick couple take away things. There was a couple that walked in the same time, the lady in front and the gent held the door for myself, so they ended up behind myself.

I was serviced, a lady who had a phone order was servic. That And the couple sat, the lady wasn’t sure if they came to the table or she needed to go up so she stood up and came to the front where the owner said rather surly that they would come to you.

The lady slightly questioned with her arms and then the owner went off telling them to ‘fu@k off’, business was closed to them, she was confused as where the bystanders to what just happened,

The owner continued to come around the front of counter (still with a hot jug of milk in his hand), yelling verbal abuse towards the customer for being rude etc. the partner got in the middle and said to leave at this stage the female customer returned the verbal language.

But worst experience entering a business I had never been to before, maybe his behaviour was set off after the cutlery was dropped....

On a little day trip out we happened upon this cafe by chance. The staff here are extremely kind and professional and the cafe atmosphere was warm and welcoming although busy each customer was provided service quickly by the friendly staff. The food looked amazing and it was very hard to decide what we wanted because we wanted everything! (We ended up getting some extra snacks from them for the road and so glad we did!) our lunch was the chicken burger, Parma and scones with jam and cream. The Parma was giant and amazing. It tasted fantastic and the dressing on the salad was Devine. My partner absolutely loved his chicken burger and the scones were the best I’ve had, my daughter agreed and stole half of my scone! For travel snacks we got 2 Cronuts and a bounty slice and were all eaten in seconds! The homemade ice tea was very “moreish”. Will definitely be doing a return trip the next time we take a day drive up here!!!

My wife and I turned up there today with my daughter to have a milkshake. We were greated by the rudest male who basically just grunted at us and doesn’t say I’m sorry we are closing as we are out of food. No polite explanation. His words were we are done. I didn’t quite hear exactly what he said and I said can we get a table and I defiantly heard his next reply of no we are done and we are out of food in a very aggressive manner in front of my 5 year old daughter on Mother’s Day. To be honest I don’t really care you out of food or you have a sign on the window. You are providing a service. If you can’t decently speak to people then you should give up the game. To all customers who think about going here. Please see the response my wife got from this establishment. If you have a family and want a decent experience please don not attend this establishment.

We had a lovely brunch here! The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a casual meal, and the food selection pleasantly surprised us. I particularly enjoyed the bruschetta - a delightful twist on the classic with mushrooms, pumpkin, red onion, feta, and rocket leaves (picture added). The kids were excited to see smoothies and frozen slushies on the menu, which added to the fun. With quick, friendly service and an option for outdoor seating, we’ll definitely be back!
