Requested a half n half pizza with two toppings and was told that wasn’t possible. $6 for a 1.25 soft drink. Was $3.5 for a 1.25 at the bottle shop not even 10m walk. They also surcharge higher than the rate for a standard take away restaurant.
I paid $25 for a “gourmet” pizza garlic prawns which came with 5 tiny prawns. The crust tasted like stale week old bread. The Indian owners speak minimal English. I am confused why Indians would have a pizza shop they’d be better off opening a curry house. Terrible service I was given someone else’s order and upon leaving they realised there mistake.
I’d recommend hilltop pizza in Monbulk unfortunately they weren’t open so I was forced to order from these clowns. I don’t see this place staying open longer than 3 months.
Was told 15 minute wait expect 40-60minutes. I checked with them twice and at 40 minutes it was just going in the oven.
If Italians went to India and opened an Indian restaurant, over charged and couldn’t deliver what they’re menu says there business would have faeces thrown at it and burnt to the ground so why is it ok for Indians to run a pizza shop and do the...
Read moreI would not recommend this place—new management has clearly made a negative impact. My partner and I arrived for a pickup tonight and informed the girl at the counter that we would wait outside. We patiently waited for around 50 minutes, only to realize that our food had been ready and sitting there for who knows how long, while the staff seemed to be wandering around doing very little. When we finally collected our order, we were presented with stone cold food and after spending $90 it was incredibly disappointing. My partner then had to return to the restaurant for a replacement while I went home to drop off the rest of the food to our family. Unfortunately upon collection, he was met with extremely unprofessional behaviour from the staff, who showed no accountability and instead blamed us for the situation. Overall, it was a deeply frustrating experience as we love supporting small businesses...
Read moreRecently changed hands (late 2015) and quality went to zero. Toppings used to be quite good (compared to domino's and all the other topping-less pizza makers) and good quality ingredients. Now the bases are thicker and the toppings much less and the quality of the ingredients seems much poorer. I reluctantly recently decided to try again with my wife and they had no gluten free bases (they always did in the past) so we bought food elsewhere. Tonight I thought I would give them another chance and they informed me the delivery charge which was always $6 (for the last 2 yrs - 7km distance), was now $10. This business has been destroyed and will sell again cheaply in the not to distant future as the present owners are destroying the great name the business previously had. I'm going to see the owner tomorrow to air my displeasure with their destruction of a...
