Monbulk Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Melbourne

Went here to get dinner for my family. 1st order was 1/2 chicken and chips, was advised we should have enough chicken for that, so instead of ordering another 1/4 chicken and chips I ordered a lamb souvlaki.

Waited 25 minutes and the only person left in there waiting, was asked what I was waiting for by the young man, when I told him 1/2 chicken and chips and a lamb souvlaki, I was told they were out of chicken and the ones on the spit would be a while. His solution was he could cook chicken that they use for the HSP pack and he can put it on the chips. Unimpressed at this stage I said yes. Got home lamb in the souvlaki was cold, dry and fatty and the chicken on the chips was dry and tasteless. Not...

They used to be good! Order for our big family! Today they… Got order wrong, which we found out after we got home… Watered down flavourless dressing on the coleslaw… Seemed to use old discussing oil to cook the chips… The chips even looked stale… Absolutely no flavour on our chicken… Slimy stuffing with strange taste…

I mean the food was disgusting.

Seriously, would it kill you to use some salt, spices and herbs. To add insult to injury, we did a double-take over the price as well. Way to expensive for what we were served.

Went there today ordered a chicken roll, as he was putting the chicken on the roll he brought it up to his face and had a smell, said something to his wife (?) who took the container of chicken out the back where she then had a smell of the chicken in the container.. The guy then took the chicken out of the roll, it was then l asked the cashier for my money back. She told the lady not to worry about the roll she looked at me which l said "he's sniffed the chicken, you've sniffed the chicken if it's that rank why would l risk eating a chicken roll". And he hadn't even disposed of the roll that the off chicken...
