If you have a hankering for Gami, this is the location to go to!
Lovely service that this genuine and warm, and absolutely nothing akin to the awful staff who work at the Fountain Gate location.
The ladies at Gami Carnegie are fantastic and proactive, and the food matches the positive energy you’ll find here.
Ordered the mozzarella sticks - which I’ll admit are a little steep in price at $12.50 - but were worth every penny. Super fresh and a 10/10 cheese pull (see pic).
Also grabbed a chicken burger for $9.9. Cabbage in the coleslaw was a little bitter for my liking, but it’s a great price for a burger in this economy and it was filling.
Peach iced tea was refreshing, and the waitress even asked if I wanted to fill up my water bottle with ice before I left, since it was a super hot day outside! So sweet!
The boneless chicken was an easy choice, and they offer takeaway boxes if you can’t quite finish everything (which I couldn’t!)
Like the other Gami restaurants, their menu is large and varied. There is something to satisfy everyone. Chips, chicken, burgers, drinks, kids meals, rice meals, the list goes on.
Great place to bring friends or family to since you’ll feel inclined to share because there’s so much to choose from.
Very happy with my trip here (especially after the bad taste that Gami Fountain Gate left in my mouth) and will return here whenever I next feel a craving for affordable, no-fuss...
Read moreI've ordered takeaway food from gami-Carnegie so many times in the past two years. But today's experience was very irritating and made me feel discriminated and violated. The staff asked my name and I said 'Tim' clearly when I placed my order, but when I came back and picked the order, the customer name shows on the receipt is 'Chin'. There were many times my name is spelled 'Kim' here and that is totally fine but what does 'CHIN' stands for?? I went back to the shop and asked him what the letters stood for and he replied that he didn't catch my name cuz the mask. Then use 'Chin' to replace? Did you forget a letter and Which one? Isn't that racist? Shouldn't I think it's discrimination? It's 2022 and I can still get that kind of experience at Gami. What a good job soo well done! I can understand if it was a work mistake caused by not listening clearly or masks. I would like to say that it is necessary for the service staff to make a double check with the customer for such ambiguous matters. BUT I don't think it was a mistake and made me feel 100% that was entirely intentional. Order...
Read moreBeen to a few different Gami locations over the years, but this restaurant has become my new favourite! Tiffany, our server, was the best part of the experience, she was kind and attentive and efficient. Never realised how important service is in a food setting until you experience someone that goes above and beyond to make it great. The food quality was amazing, very on par with other Gami restaurants. My partner and I were interested in the Big Chicken meal and Tiffany explained what we'd be getting and that its the best value for money, and also one of her personal favourites. It didnt disappoint! We were both interested in getting lemon lime bitters and asked her if they did jug sizes, which they dont, but Tiffany was very accommodating and offered to make us up a jug which we appreciated! Very happy with our experience and will definitely visit again when we're...
