Gami Chicken and Beer in Windsor is an absolute gem! combining the best of Korean cuisine with a vibrant, laid-back atmosphere. As a fan of both crispy fried chicken and a good beer (make sure you try their custom brewed craft beer!), I found this place to be a delightful experience that exceeded all expectations.

From the moment you step in, the warm, welcoming vibe of the restaurant hits you. The décor is modern yet cozy, with wooden accents and ambient lighting that make it perfect for both casual outings and special gatherings. The friendly staff immediately makes you feel at home, ready to guide you through their extensive menu.

The star of the show, of course, is the chicken. Gami’s fried chicken is nothing short of phenomenal. The crispiness is perfect, providing that satisfying crunch with every bite, while the meat inside remains tender and juicy. Their variety of sauces adds a whole new dimension of flavor—my personal favorite being the sweet and spicy, which offers a harmonious balance that isn’t overwhelming.

The menu doesn’t stop at chicken. The range of side dishes is impressive, offering everything from kimchi and pickled radish to cheesy corn and loaded fries. Each side complements the main dishes perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The kimchi, in particular, stood out with its authentic taste and perfect level of fermentation.

Pairing the food with their selection of beers and soju is highly recommended. The beer menu is well-curated, featuring local brews as well as Korean favorites. A cold beer paired with hot, crispy chicken is a match made in heaven, and Gami nails this combination flawlessly.

One of the highlights of dining at Gami is the communal experience. The portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing. This communal aspect adds to the enjoyment, as you can try a variety of dishes and flavors in one sitting.

Service is another area where Gami excels. Despite being busy, the staff are attentive and efficient, ensuring that your food arrives hot and your drinks are refilled promptly. They are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, Gami Chicken and Beer in Windsor is a must-visit for anyone in Melbourne. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this restaurant promises a fantastic culinary adventure with its exceptional food, great drinks, and superb service. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy good company, and indulge in some of the best Korean fried chicken the city has to offer. Highly...

We had a fantastic experience at Gami Chicken and Beer, and much of it was thanks to our cheerful server, Dan. We started with teokbokki, which was served in a wok that was heated right on the table. It was a fascinating experience to watch it come together into a wholesome and sumptuous meal.

Next, we tried the spicy boneless chicken. It was perfectly tender on the inside and coated generously with flavorful sauce. A lot of places tend to skimp on the sauce, but Gami nailed it—each piece was coated evenly and full of flavor.

The only downside was the seating arrangement. We were seated right next to the door, and unfortunately, it didn’t close properly, letting in a really cold draft. It made it hard to fully enjoy the meal, especially since the wok was being heated up at our table and we couldn’t move. Perhaps they could work on the atmosphere or the seating arrangements to ensure more comfort for guests.

Overall, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent, thanks to Dan. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving flavorful and well-prepared...

Ordered 10 pieces chicken wings by delivery.

when I opened it smelled okay at first but the more I was eating this chicken , smelled like sour and ammonia.. eventually I stopped eating and contacted to Gami.

the answer was ‘we receive and fry chicken every day’ but frankly it smells ammonia and suspecting a food safety issue. I didn’t ask how Gami receive a supply and process the chicken. Gami didn’t have an immediate action to cope with food safety matter. a lady told me to report this issue through Delivery company for refund. I understand she is also just working over there, but I expected a better solution.

ruined a meal time and ugly action for food safety matter.. not trustworthy ..I am not going to...
