Gateway Diner — Restaurant in Melbourne

There are so many cafés in industrial areas and I see no difference between them.

Service was adequate but once again l see inflated prices. Possibly a stangle-hold by the landlord.

Normally I do not respond to the owner's feedback response but I wish to advise you that I am a former business owner and I fully understand the extreme pressures a small business has to its owner as it is like somewhat like a "mistress" to them.

My response still stands as although you are in an industrial park and you cater for the industrial sector however you are still a café and your prices are in par with other cafés ergo my review will be on par with them too.

Overall the staff is nice and the food and coffee is good , however last time I've gone I got charged 18$ for a bacon and egg roll and 1 coffee just because i asked for an extra slice of bacon . A medium latte is 5.50 which I think is pretty steep considering this is an industrial cafe in epping and not on lygon street . My pay hasn't gone up enough to justify that much just for breakfast , might as well just go to MacDonalds also side note needs music playing in background , it felt awkwardly quiet...
