Gatto Rosso — Restaurant in Melbourne

No doubt that they provide nice and authentic Italian food.

We are locals and used to do takeaways from this shop until yesterday when we decided to sit and eat inside the shop. They charged us for two small spoons of parmesan cheese on our pasta and pizza, which we only figured out when we got home by checking the receipt.

Paying four extra dollars wasn't a big deal, but not being told about this extra charge was a bit of a turn-off, let alone having to pay for parmesan cheese when eating pizza and pasta.

It would have been better if they had let us know from the beginning.

What a beautiful lovely Italian local restaurant. So unassuming, they only have 4 tables indoor but the minute we walked in, we felt immediately comfortable and welcome, a feeling like coming back home. Great food, and my comment is more to say that... I had the best tiramisu in Melbourne just now...
