This is not just another gelati review... My wife and I travel Melbourne to sample new gelato flavours, and this new place is only 6 weeks old. I am certain in my opinion: This is the best gelati in Melbourne. Better than Messina, Boca, Augustus, Piccolina, and the rest. And if you need some evidence: Their Pistachio ice cream (a staple of any decent gelato place) is made from imported Sicilian ingredients. The green is bright and unique to its origins in Italy. Then they also sample local flavours - Their pear gelati is from made from pears from a local market. All made in house in an unassuming shop with authentic people who know their gelati. We'll definitely be making many appearances from now on....

Awful customer service. I’ve had pistachio gelato before and never had an issue. I’m allergic to peanuts and felt my throat flaring up, older male employee with the beard who seemed to be a manager explained traces of nuts are in their ice cream, however he said he’s not sure what nuts or how much, and failed to provide essential information, considering the health risk. I asked if i would be able to swap for a different flavour and was told i would have to purchase again. I find it concerning - the lack of knowledge regarding the product they sell.
