I was excited to try as saw ads regarding recent kerala festivals and chat menu seems interesting.
The food was below average and dahipuri I was excited to try was a mush.consistency and flavour was wrong rest was barely edible.
At this cost of living pressure when people are looking for value for money or even a decent experience- this will not make any list.Very disappointing food.
20/7 -REPLY TO THE OWNER It seems that the option to comment has been switched off, so I’m leaving my response here.
The bill amendment should have been handled automatically, especially since I pointed it out at the time. It’s disappointing that it wasn’t corrected without further prompting.
I’ve also noticed that your replies — not just to me, but to others who have left critical feedback — come across as defensive rather than constructive. Instead of acknowledging concerns, it feels like you're dismissing them or attacking the views shared. My feedback is based on a solid understanding of this type of cuisine, not from someone unfamiliar with it.
In today’s competitive environment, hence the cost of living was mentioned especially in hospitality, the focus should be on making sure customers leave happy and want to return. Sadly, my experience — from the food to the way the front staff handled things — was frustrating. The Dahi Puri Chaat was added to the bill even though I returned it immediately, which should never have happened.
Had the food and service been better, you might have gained a regular customer. But unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
That said, I guess we’ll have to...
Read moreThe most embarrassing place I ever ate. He gave us a table next to the toilet, we had to stand up to let people come and go from the bathroom. He squashed in his tiny shop (not a restaurant) too many people and has been serving only entrees to the customer while he was doing tons of deliveries. He suggested us to buy the entrees which is 1 prawn per person covered in raw sliced onion and one tiny piece of chicken per person covered in raw sliced onion. Then we waited literally 55 min for the main. All customers in the shop have had the same treatment. It was embarrassing to see that not one single person in the restaurant was eating while the deliveries were going so well. In one hour we have seen at least 10 customers coming to pick up their food. We couldn't believe it..The main finally arrives, it was average for an Indian. The bill: $146 for 3 people. The entree was $18 and $17 for one prawn and one piece of chicken per person. Roti bread for three $22!! 3 glass of water $12! When we told him our opinion he said "off course mate, this is indian, the best food". He really could care at all, and when we paid he didn't accept debit as payment but only credit. End of the story? Horrible place, horrible service, average food, expansive and when we left we were also a...
Read moreAfter seeing an overwhelming number of ads on Facebook promoting the Biriyani & Kebab Festival, we decided to visit the restaurant with high hopes and our family in tow. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.
The place itself is a small eatery with a decent ambiance—not exceptional, but adequate for a casual dining experience. Based on the waitress’s recommendation, we ordered the Non-Veg Tandoori Platter, which included Tandoori Chicken, Malai Chicken, Shammi Kebab and Lamb Chops.
While the Tandoori Chicken was enjoyable, the rest of the platter was a letdown. The lamb chops were rubbery and undercooked, prompting us to send them back. In exchange, we were offered more Malai Chicken, which, disappointingly, was also undercooked. The Shammi Kebab was dry and lacked any real flavor.
We also tried two biriyanis: the Sindhi Lamb Biriyani and the Lucknowi Chicken Biriyani. The lamb biriyani was the highlight of our meal—flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the chicken biriyani didn’t fare as well; the chicken pieces were rubbery and hard.
Overall, it was a disappointing culinary experience. We expected more, given the advertising and the concept of a...
