Brilliant selection of quality coffees and a pleasurable ambience. The best coffee chain in town.

I've been enjoying this coffee shop for well over 10 years and visit there at least twice a week - I just love the place.

When catching up with friends I always say "Meet you at Gloria Jeans" as I know they will be served with a beautiful, hot coffee.

Not just the best coffee chain but the best coffee shop I've attended. A pleasure and a delight every visit. Sonny and Jenny make visiting here a double pleasure.

UPDATE AUGUST 2022

Sadly Gloria Jeans has lost the plot. They have gone from the best coffee chain to the worst. And how have they done that? They decided to treat their most loyal and supportive customers by stripping them of their rewards points.

The rewards scheme costs Gloria Jeans absolutely nothing but generates profits for the franchise. The loyalty cards we carry are paid for by the individual stores. The cost of the free coffees is borne by the stores. But the stores buy the coffee that they eventually give away. So even though the scheme costs the company nothing they spat in the face of their best customers.

OK, so a month after they brutally destroyed their customers' loyalty they were forced to reinstate the points they had previously stripped away. But they have changed the rules which still penalises their most loyal and profit-generating customers.

I hope a senior director reads this as I'm sure a competent and intelligent director would never have approved this despicable betrayal.

Gloria Jeans have a long way to go to make up for this stupidity and I doubt they will ever have the same level of loyalty as...

Gloria Jean’s is a reasonable place for a drinks but don’t expect to come here for the best coffee. The frappes and iced drinks of various flavours are the selling point of the franchise, to the point where staff seemed disappointed we only ordered cappuccinos. This might be a kind of “Starbucks Effect” but I found it disappointing for a long serving coffee business to put more work into trend flavours than actual coffee. A decent thirstquencher for the summer...

Not bad tasting coffee here. Has a nice flavour but could be smoother. The speed of service was only average compared to other coffee stores ive been to before, possibly because gloria jeans is quite a bit busier than other coffee stores so considering this the wait time was acceptable but I wouldnt come here if I was in a big hurry. For me Coffee Hut stores are still my first preference over gloria jeans, but worth a try here if you havent...
