Ordered a coffee. Sat. Waited. Young fella called out Latte. I didn't hear. Still waiting. Looked up, saw a coffee sitting there, a couple people in shop. Wasn't sure if it was mine. Young fella noticed my uncertainty after sometime and told me it's mine. Said he called out. I said did ya? He's like yeah must not have heard. True, I must not have heard. Elderly female staff member chimes in and says to young fella "yeah I heard ya call out" I'm like did ya? She's like yeah. Defending young bloke for no apparent reason and making the customer feel stupid for not hearing? Why would you leave a coffee sitting there after calling out and nobody claiming it? I had to work New Years Day due to being in essential services and so I came here to grab a coffee and a sandwich. I took the sandwich out of the packet and it was like cardboard, checked the date and it was one day off use by. So I went back and politely asked for a refund, to which they refused claiming that the sandwiches are made thw previous day. Pretty typical these days it would seem. I personally wouldn't spend my money here again. Not an unreasonable request and clearly the owners are more concerned about the bottom dollar rather than customer satisfaction. Patricia Does a fantastic job in Running her shop with her Family. Always Busy when I come in here most Mornings for my extra Hot Caffe Latte and occasionally I have an Ice cold Mango drink. And the Food and Snacks are always a treat to have very reasonable prices.
