I love this place and the people who run it.

We have a social baseball event that happens 5 weeks at a time, twice per year at Anderson Park down the road. As a team, we've always met up at the pubs afterwards just to be social and have a meal.

We found out about this place last season and gave it a go.

The manager Jason could not possibly be a better human than he is. He's a busy guy but super positive and just wants to be a super great host.

We got a bit of a thing going for the last games of the season and convinced all the other teams to come along and have a good time. This has always been a personal dream of mine since the league started. To see all the teams together and enjoy time together.

Jason ran it like it was a BBQ at his house. He took personal pride in mingling with the teams. He got a mic out and thanked people for coming. The staff themselves are all positive and look to interact with customers.

We had 12 hungry (and thirsty) boys with insatiable greed willing to spend top dollar for whatever Governers Hall would provide us.

When we entered the venue we immediately felt welcomed and appreciated, what I can only assume is the owner of the venue greeted us and was immediately equipped to service our greed.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. Top notch. Genuinely edible. The beers… even better. Served straight out of a tap, colder than the arctic. This place is simply above the level.

The air in this venue felt coastal and clean (Definitely filtered to remove any semblance of scum). Care clearly taken with the filtering of air. The venue itself is miles ahead of its competition. It is an untapped goldmine ready to flourish.

Don’t know how this premises doesn’t receive more recognition. Seriously recommend (the perfect venue for those with a need for greed that can’t be...

The pub fitout is nice and they're friendly. Service is also quick. We sat outside as they are dog friendly. My partner really likes his parma and the chips. He gave this dish a 4/5. Unfortunately, my gluten free pizza was burnt around the edges & undercooked in the middle. What was disappointing for me was that I gave them this feedback on the gluten free base & the reaction was "oh it's really hard to cook gf base right as our oven is too hot for this base" It was disappointing that they know there is an issue and still sell the food & not apologise for serving...
