My Mighty Melbourne Salad comprised only two pieces of lettuce, two pieces of beetroot, two pieces of tomatoes, and three onion rings. For a satisfactory experience, the salad should consistently include a couple more components, especially when opting out of the panini roll.

Despite Grill'd's assurance to standardize and enhance the quality of salads when ordered as standalone items, it appears that not all stores have received this memo.

The most exceptional salads I've enjoyed from Grill'd were at Fountain Gate and Grill'd Waurn Ponds. However, the experience at Heatherton was less than pleasant. The staff member who assisted us lacked friendliness and failed to smile throughout our entire interaction, from placing the order to its delivery. This left me with a less-than-pleasant impression.

1/9/25 Visited again today and I'm absolutely delighted with their custom menu. The scope is enormous. I chose the super salad, removed chicken and replaced it with wagu pattie, added more salad, goats cheese, sour cream, lime and extra onion. It was amazing. See for yourself. I’ve ordered takeaway from this Grill’d three times now. Each time, the order has been ready 20 minutes after the estimated delivery time shown on the order, and one time the wrong bun was provided which I couldn’t eat because of dietary requirements. The burgers are also not as good as at other Grill’d locations. There seem to be a lot of very young staff who don’t quite know what they are doing. But its the timing that bothers me the most. I don’t mind so much if the order takes a bit longer, but just give an honest estimate of the pickup time, so people don’t have to wait around for ages.
