My son & I have been coming here once a week for a while now, on each of our visits ( about 6 visits ) weāve been offered a complimentary chocolate each time, & despite saying yes please, in all of that time itās only been brought to us one time. Last time we visited this place, I ordered an iced coffee, along with our chocolate which we didnāt get, I got a large slushy type of iced coffee, served in a milkshake cup, which was sweet & thick, not very nice. I wasnāt keen to return today, but my son, who has severe autism, wanted the same routine, so we had another go, once again the ā complimentary ā chocolate wasnāt brought out, I opted for a hot coffee this time, we had our biscuits, then my son wanted some water, he accidentally made a little mess & left a small puddle under the water bottle, when the shop staff went to wipe it up I apologised, all I got in return was a cold glance. Now Iām super reluctant to return. Lousy service here & not very understanding staff. Edit - in response to your reply, Itās not my job to remind you & your staff how to do their job. I went inside not even a minute later asking for it to be an iced latte. The owner came out of the kitchen saying he had already made it which was a lie because he then went back into the kitchen added ice cream and blend it together. He could have easily just not added the ice cream and given me what he had already made. When I said I wanted an iced latte again in confusion to why he added ice cream he said that I had to pay for it again even though I had already paid $8 for a $5 product. He then went on a rant and started yelling in front of the entire store that the business is losing money and that heās in debt $20,000. No wonder your business is losing money when you have such a bad attitude and terrible customer service. My family has been going there weekly for months spending at least $200 a week, itās safe to say we will never be returning. But it was a super hot day, and we wanted to take a coffee break on the way home, so I thought of having a cold chocolate. Actually, I was more of wanting to try this cafe out. I admire them open 7 days until late at 5:30pm when all adjacent shops and cafes are all closed at 3 or 4 pm. Tuck in a neighbourhood sometimes is hard to sustain a business especially during winter as it gets dark earlier. Anyway, the ice chocolate I ordered was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it so much as they even put ice cream, which made it even more tasty. I didn't expect that. Also, they give every order a small piece of chocolate where you get to choose from easily more than 20 flavours. The best part is their service. The ladies were so nice and polite. I really like the environment but it would have been better if they could clean the table as soon as the customer leaves the table. Will definitely come back again.
