Mia Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Melbourne

Ordered over the phone a chicken pizza and marinara (half/half) was told atleast 3 times they were busy.. I said ok can you make it they said 30minutes. He asked me if I wanted bbq sauce I said no. We walked to the shop and he had it ready so great I said but when I checked it, there was ham in it. I said we do t eat ham and I thought I ordered the chicken pizza.. he’s reply was were Italian that’s how we make it.. I can’t read your mind. I said I order chicken pizza all the time (login st never once had ham in it).. also you asked me about the sauce you could’ve maybe mentioned ham. They were gonna make me another if I waited but another gentleman came to take order and asked me what I wanted on the chicken. But before I could mention the marinara side he walked away.. I reached out to the older gentleman making my pizza and asked if he could put marinara like my original order he said mate were too busy to do this .. as he looked upset and frustrated with me as if it was a chore for him and when I said ok forget it then and started walking to the door.. the other gentleman basically told me to go away. Great service .. and I was recommended this place was good.. boy they really don’t need locals to support them. Went to Dough addict and ordered home alone deal chicken pizza garlic bread and can of drink for a cheaper price and tasty pizza not to mention they don’t have ham in the...

Well... It's a little pizza place in the middle of Boring North, sorry Balwyn North. It doesn't look like much but it really doesn't try to. We booked last night and we were the only people in there. The table was set for 4 with 4 wine glasses. Very nice. Very sweet. Within an hour the place was full, bustling, friendly,- people bringing their own drinks like 1 beer and a bottle of wine. the kind of thing you do when you are comfortable and familiar.

Now the food. I have had take away a few times and the food is always GREAT. Dining in was really nice too. You can get a steak which I will do next time because I'll bet it's the bomb. We had veal schnitzel ( awesome) I had the chicken parmigiana ( Enormous authentic and delicious) we had pizza and a salad as fresh as you can imagine. I asked how many times they cook the chips. Twice. I can't help but wonder if they did table cloths whether they'd be able to charge a lot more. But they don't! The service is beautiful. Kind patient, it's all about you. this place is a real unicorn. Its chockas on the weekends so if you ring for take away, don't be offended if they can't hear you. they deliver but its cash only. I love having services in my area of...

I have no problems with a business only taking cash, however I do have an issue with not being told of this until I turn up to pick up my food. To point at a sign that says "cash only" is disgusting customer service.I could have been told when I ordered over the phone. The ultimate insult was the man shaking his head at me for being so stupid to think I could pay for pizza with a card, behind my back as I walked out,,, to race and find an ATM to pay for my food before it went completely cold......remember when you have a glass shop front people can see in, and see what...
