My daughter wanted to take me out for lunch on Mother's Day, I prefer low key and easy and remembered a friend had mentioned MrT Deli. As i live very close i thought that sounds perfect.

I ordered the steak frites hot sandwich and my daughter ordered the buffalo chicken hot sandwich, we also got fries to share, I'm not a big fan of fries usually.. but these fries where delicious and perfectly seasoned, also an iced coffee.. which was simple but sooo good. We sat outside to eat which was rather relaxing as being a Sunday and Mother's day, the area was quieter than normal.

We decided to have half and half. I wish I had the buffalo chicken half before the steak frites. Because OMG! the steak frites was amazing. So tender, full of flavour, just perfect. So unfortunately anything after that, regardless of how good it is, was just always coming in second.

So many delicious options on the menu, but I know I'll order the steak frites again, it was just too good. And yes, the buffalo chicken was lovely, chicken extremely tender, it all had loads of flavour.

The delicious hot sandwiches gave me the perfect low key mothers day with my daughter that I wanted. Oh and I didn't need dinner that night.. was still full and...
