Schnitz Karingal — Restaurant in Melbourne

Absolutely pathetic experience as delivery partner tonight. I spent 15 minutes waiting at the delivery window and was not acknowledged at all by staff. I went inside and was told to go to ghe window. I pointed out I had been at the window for 15 minutes and the response was "I didn't see you". Other drivers were coming inside looking for their orders. I asked if I could speak to the manager on duty to be told there was not one by the sane girl. I went and stood at the delivery window for another 5 minutes and then went back inside as the orders were just being left below the heat lights. The girl again gave me attitude and at this point I snapped back. Another tow girls approached and one announced she was the manager. I pointed out that the delivery window had not been attended for 15 minutes. Again I repeated my order name and again showed my phone for confirmation. The girl bagging then demanded to see my phone again before she would give me the order. I worked in retail and customer service for 25 years and have never seem such a blatant disregard for customers in all my years. One lady had been waiting for a internet order for 45 minutes. I will tell all my friends and colleagues of the abysmal service at...

Wow. I love schnitz. However you sure made this customer refuse to ever attempt order from this particular new store again. I ordered food at 7pm. Due for delivery at 8:15pm. Driver was at the store waiting since about 7:40pm. At 8:20ish Menulog had to advise us it was now going to be due at 8:49pm. Driver still waiting. We could not contact the store as there is no phone number listed on google nor on the Schnitz website. At 8:55pm Menulog responded that the timeframe had again changed, and it was due 9:25pm. Driver still waiting. I finally contacted the Schnitz hotline and they couldn't even find my order, they also advised me they did not have a phone number for the Karingal store to give me. We had Menulog cancel our order at 9:04pm. Over two hours waiting with no contact from or with the store and we were left without dinner. Congratulations. Edit apparently the food was made and ready to go at 7:30pm. Apparently the Menulog driver never actually arrived and the food sat there until closing time with no further action taken....

Loved my caesar salad. Salad mix,,dressing, croutons that were not too hard and the tender tasty chicken was great. I have ordered caesar salad from at least 6 other restaurants if not more over the years. Schniz I'm coming back for another caesar it was beautiful. My wife has now ordered the same wrap 3 times now and loves it each time. Now that is saying something when a restaurant keeps serving.up the same taste and quality each time. We were served by two different guys. One was a red headed dude. Both made or visit very welcoming. I loved how they both asked if they could get us anything to just ask. It wasn't cheesy. It really felt genuine. Great service and food. You need to buy up next door so you can have a bigger restaurant. But them again there wasn't too many people so it was just right. Not crowded and nois. Very pleasant and relaxed experience. Maybe that was because my wife was massaging my hand? Nar it had to be Schniz. Love that I have a great restaurant...
