After ordering our meals, 4 out of 5 tables to sit at in-store were full of used plates and bowls, with one that was clean positioned under an air conditioner that was on high on a cold winters day. We chose the table with the least amount of plates on it (not under the aircon) and went to sit down. The 3 of us stood at the chairs while an old man begrudgingly walked over to possibly clean the table. He just glared at us while starting to clean the 2 unattended tables while we stood waiting to be seated. I politely asked if he could please clean the table in front of us so we could be seated and he proceeded to get very agitated at my request. He threw his arm around while raising his voice at me and declaring he will do these other tables first. I replied by telling him theres no need to raise your voice and have a go at me, we were just looking to sit down. A female worker came up and spoke to him and he proceeded to raise his voice and speak in another language to her. It was apparent that this outburst was directed at us as he was waving his arms around in our direction again. He continued to glare at all 3 of us for the entire time we were in the restaurant. This made my 15 year old daughter and the 2 of us very uncomfortable. Without a doubt this was one the worst experiences we have had while trying to enjoy a meal. If the meal had not already been paid for i would have...
Read moreI've had 3 different dishes from here and each was of a different variety so my review is an overall opinion. Clean, fresh and prompt. Service is friendly. Food is authentic street French/Vietnamese food. The serving sizes are quite modest so if you're extra hungry I'd suggest ordering sides and ensuring you're prepared to spend a fair bit on lunch. Prices are middle of the road, but due to portion sizing you end up spending a bit if you're hungry. The roast pork banh mi has been disappointing - it's pork belly, not a pork shoulder or loin. The pork belly was marinated so it had a flavour I wouldn't normally associate with a roast pork banh mi, and it's VERY fatty. The crackle has been scarce, which for me is a big no no. It's the whole reason I get a roast pork anything. There was little to no coriander, and two tiny slices of fresh chili. Overall...
Read moreBeen a many times food is great 9/10 over most choices on the menu however one in every 10 pork rolls ypu get has next to no meat in it only fat, now I get that pork belly is what pork belly is however when the servers make the rolls the very carefully place the pork in the roll so for god sake ifn the pieces you select are only fat an I mean only fat like the roll I had today surely you can through them to the side, I'm happy to eat 60 70% fat but not 95 plus luke mine was today. For 13$ surely you can do better. But as I said usually a great experience just...
