There was no option for Dandenong south restaurant but this is the restaurant i have feedback on. Cousin and I were wanting a small order just a burrito bowl, and loaded fries in a meal with 2 drinks. It wasnât too busy but we went up to order and young girl took our order. She was extremely rude and dismissive when we couldnât hear what she was saying. She didnât give us a receipt. We ignored it and just continued like normal to wait. We sat in the dining room for around 25-30 mins for our two takeaway dishes and were watching the kitchen from where we sat. Every staff seemed to be not doing much and just waiting around. It started to get busier but only by delivery drivers. This didnât seem to change much and staff only seemed to be working on deliveryâs/ drive thru, if anything at all. Our buzzer went off and we went to collect the meal, nothing was said. I said thank you and there was no response or âsorry for the waitâ. Just passed the food and walked off. Got to eat on the way home and burrito bowl was completely thrown together, 3/4 empty and cold, including meat and rice, maybe half a handful of lettuce and thatâs it. Loaded fries was quite similar. Certainly not value for money when itâs almost empty and looks half eaten. This is our very first experience with Taco Bell and we are extremely disappointed with our service and food and wonât be coming back. We were positive the whole time and know that it can get busy but when we got there it was not busy at all and just seemed that staff were not bothered or fussed to do anything with our orders. We both work in the fast food industry and we know when it can be busy but we still deliver good service and food. A sorry for the wait would have sufficed. Feel free to contact me for photos of the...
Read moreAs a food enthusiast, I recently dined at this Taco Bell, which had recently made the thoughtful decision to remove pork from their menu out of respect for the Muslim community. While I appreciate their effort to accommodate dietary needs and cultural sensitivities, I would like to share my opinion on the absence of pork options.
I understand and respect the restaurant's intention to create an inclusive environment. However, as someone who enjoys pork as part of my culinary preferences, I was disappointed to see that pork was no longer available. Pork is a popular and versatile meat that is appreciated in many cuisines, and its absence was noticeable.
In suggesting ways for the restaurant to do better, I would encourage them to consider offering pork as an optional protein on their menu. This would allow diners who enjoy pork to have the choice to include it in their meals, while still respecting those who choose not to consume it due to religious or dietary restrictions. Proper labeling and preparation practices can be implemented to ensure that pork dishes are prepared in accordance with halal guidelines and to address any concerns about cross-contamination.
It's important to strike a balance between cultural sensitivity and culinary diversity. I believe that a restaurant can be respectful to the Muslim community while also providing a varied menu that caters to different tastes and preferences. By including pork as an optional protein with proper considerations, the restaurant can create a dining experience that is inclusive and enjoyable for...
Read moreI entered Saturday 4pm, ordered 2 small things and I left at 4:30pm. Minute by minute I saw people who came later getting their orders. Then, standing at the counter asked how far is my order and she couldn't find it on the kitchen screen and in 15 seconds she "forgot" about me still standing at the counter. Asked again, she's punching the screen and suddenly goes to the bathrooms. Asking another girl - same story, kitchen screen and not coming back with the answer. Then the manager comes and the order is ready in 5 minutes. Not a biggie, things like this happens. But... 2 things to remember about this place:
Extremely low kitchen hygiene: people use the same blue gloves to touch screens, EFT devices, money, drive thru windows, buzzers and then your food. The worst was just on front of my eyes at 4:20pm on 16.07.22: an Asian appearance girl with glasses stumbled over the large floor broom laying just where they cook, then lifted or and placed against the wall. Half minute later, with the same gloves she was filling paper pockets with fries. Same glove: floor, broom, potato. Bravo. (Manager, you can see this on your CCTV)
2ndly: Taco gives highest priority to Drive thru, then to Uber eats. You are the last in the queue walking in. So better drive thru to get your meal in 5 minutes. And just... try not to think about those blue gloves and the broom.
Service: bad. Meal: ok for the money. I'll visit in a week time, not to order, but to check before calling Dept of Health...
