Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Girl in light denim shorts shorts and had her hair in her face and was reaching to get ice-cream and her hair hanging Infront of her face went into the tub and a neighbouring tub. Yuck! Wouldn't let me try ice creams I didn't know any flavours except for the lemon sorbet that leaves a fishy taste in your mouth. She has told me we don't to testers on public holidays then she told my husband that when it's busy they don't do testers, low and behold we were the only family in there! She seemed to be threatened by me or something cos she was only rude and hostile towards me and started at me for a while and spoke to other staff members she was laughing they didn't give her to much attention. It's really shame to say yes, we are open and not provide the ingredients rather say sorry we are closed then disappointing customer I have always loved your froyo but way too many times I have come down looking at website saying open at 11 and staff mentioning sorry we are open at 12. You guys really need to take your business serious and update your opening and closing hours. Was at store today when guy said yes we are open and the pretty girls inside refuse to give half ingredients saying sorry it has been packed up what am I gonna do with frozen ice cream and fruits without half of the ingredients that's shame guys next time rather say sorry we are closed and that is also mentioning...

My partner is coeliac and asked the staff what ice cream was GF and was told they all contained gluten. I clarified with another staff member who just said “we have some vegan ice creams”. When I explained that coeliac disease was very different to being vegan I was just told again they all contained gluten. I understand it is not the young staff member’s responsibility however the person managing/in charge had no understanding of allergies either. We walked to next store up the road who were far more accommodating and understanding of allergy needs.
