Got recommended by a friend to try this out. This has become my favourite Italian restaurant.
The place is warm, the wait staff is friendly. We got to the table pretty quickly.
After browsing the menu, we decided on the platter and two pastas - a lamb ragu and a seafood.
The platter is amazing! The olive is not your usual out of a jar stuff. It is not super salty and you can taste the olive itself. The picked veggie in the jar is so cute and tasty. The meat, they are decent. Bread is the star here. They have a proper stone oven inside and that's where they make their bread and pizza.
The pasta .. both are excellent. For a seafood pasta, I just can't believe how much seafood is in it and no it is not filled with fish. It has lot of soft calamari, prawns. Just so good.
The lamb ragu, it is very hearty and just lovely. Meat is soft and yet it retained the taste well.
Highly recommended this place to anyone. With the lively location, it is a wonderful place for...

Cute little Italian place with a name for good pizzas and now has new extended outdoor street dining
Another last minute booking this week. These guys accommodated us on a Friday night, we arrived and the restaurant was full enough for me to feel happy about my blind booking but with a few spaces left which means its worth checking out for last minute catch ups too. We had 1 hr to eat before meeting a friend so we ordered fast
Service was quick and food fresh and delicious. Ordered to share was the Calamari, Arancini, Prosciutto board, Beef Balls & a cider and we pushed on and ordered Tiramasu knowing we were full 🤣 and it was worth it
Tiramasu was softer than what I expected, the coffee more subtle, but yum. Would I order it again you ask, hell yes! $100 for 2 including ciders
I cant wait to get back and try more of their menu

Read moreVery odd customer service. Everyone should know that they have a policy, unwritten, but yet they hold you to it, that if you don't like the dish, it's just too bad. The only choice we had was to attempt to add things to it. Menu descriptions may not always be what you think. So if in doubt, ask or be buying a dish or two regardless of if you like or not.
So the first attempt was cold tomato sauce, not warmed, just out of the can cold. It took twice more and several delays to make it 'right'. We found out about this 'policy' after a conversation about customer service and that their competition does not treat their customers like that. It's ashamed because they have good food mostly and we've been several times, but not again. Word of mouth travels fast. Hopefully they'll learn that...
