THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS. Just given them 1 so that it shows at the top...! Pathetic customer service. The lady who served and said she is the so called MANAGER was so rude and ill mannered. I wish i could post her photo so that she never gets to work in customer service ever. I ordered a pasta for dinner and upon eating it the chicken and mushrooms were overcooked and few were burnt. I thought that could be just a piece or two that are burnt so ate the pasta a bit more hoping the whole pasta wouldn’t taste that bad. But i just couldn’t eat it... it tasted pathetic. I called them back and said that the pasta is not good in taste, the chicken smells bad and is burnt as well. I REQUESTED her to do something about it. Firstly, she refused to send anybody for pickup and on telling her I can’t come she said “you keep the remaining pasta ready and i will send someone to pick it up and meanwhile i will get anothet pasta ready for you and the second driver will deliver it to you. After a while, i get a call from the same lady and she said that you ate some pasta so we cannot refund or send another pasta. I asked her name over the phone and she gave an attitude and said if u need my name I won’t give it over the phone you come here and take it. I said what kind of attitude are you showing to the customer who is just requesting you to change the burnt pasta you served in the first place.? She said you do whatever you feel like I won’t refund or exchange. At 10pm, I had to go to that place and ask for her name because I was so upset with the way she spoke to me. When I reached there, she started shouting at the top of her voice and argued with me like anything. It wasn’t about $25. It was about getting home late from work expecting to have dinner that is good and not burnt and upon complaining about something that was wrong, getting to hear such things. I have her photo and a video as an evidence that my brother made to show her attitude to the owner. It is sad that because of such workers and managers in the business the owners lose their clients and market value. If the owner is reading this, Dear Owner, Kindly change your staff or else the day won’t be far that you will have nobody entering your place. Hope you take an action upon reading this...
Read moreBEWARE ! This is the worst place to order food when it comes to customer service. The self proclaimed manager over there hasn’t probably gone to school. She doesn’t know how to talk to customers. We ordered 2 Indian delight pastas and while eating we noticed the chicken and mushroom are over cooked . Rang them and she initially said they don’t have any delivery drivers and asked us to show it to them in store so that they can review whether we are eligible for exchange. Later on she sent someone to pick it up saying that the other driver is gonna deliver new ones. After someone collected it we received a call saying we already had nearly half of it so they can neither refund or exchange. Upon asking her name she refused to give it over the phone and asked she can only tell in person at the store. Once we went there she started arguing and accused us of swearing which was total nonsense . Moreover when we asked her for the pasta we returned she said it’s already in the in bin and you can get it on your own if you like . I mean who in the world treats their customers like this? When we asked to see her boss she offered us the money back and said you can come after 11am and say whatever you like . I refused to take the money back because it is not about the money it’s how one should treat their customers .very very disappointed. Think twice...

As a local I still have a tendency to call it Godfathers; as that was it name way back on the 90s. Having gone to St Albans Secondary and graduating in 2001, I spent many an afternoon eating with friends afterschool in Godfathers. The toppings were plenty, the taste was good and the pricing was fair. As the years went by the toppings shrunk and the customer service at counter became increasingly worse. I can excuse the toppings shrinking as a way to reduce cost but poor customer service has no excuse.
I have been left waiting at the counter as staff finished off a conversation multiple times, have had to pause mid order as staff took phone orders but the straw that broke the camels back was being on hold and hearing 2 other orders being taken in-store, one after the other, as I was left on hold and forgotten. I have experience the poor customer service for years now but I mainly order from Il Padrinos out of nostalgia, there are stores in St Albans whose taste and price are the same. There are even some that are better tasting for only slightly higher price. Yet I always order from Il Padrinos for old times sakes, no more...
