Joey's Pizza Frankston — Restaurant in Melbourne

Where do I begin ?! First our pizza delivery took 1 and a half hours , yes 90 mins for a 1-2 min drive. Large pepperoni pizza plus jalapeños (that were disgusting from a jar and tasted nothing like jalapeños and more like a foreign object), worse there was very little pepperoni or jalapeños on the pizza. Tomato sauce was the cheapest jarred or canned pasata you could find. The base was soggy, floppy and thin, thin was not requested. Small chicken delight had the same sauce and base problems plus the super scungy no toppings. Then the gourmet potato pizza which was so sad. The potato was no where to be seen and tiny little pieces whereever they were , there was quite literally 10 tiny cubed 5mm pieces of 'Bacon' , and off course same sauce and base problems. What is the excuse for the hour and a half delivery time ? Who opens a pizza shop without making their own unique sauce ? Who calls something gourmet when it looks like sad Margarita? Worst place...

Awesome Pizza. So hard to find good pizza for a good price around here! We tried the Supreme, fantastic! Marinara out of this world no mini bits here in the normal swamp of cheese like most places. It's the real deal with a nice load of seafood. Finally my fave was the Havana. Awwwwwesomeness. So good. I added mushrooms to mine due our tastebuds. Out of this world. I will be back next week! Great price, fantastic food and deals. Staff are very friendly:-) I highly recommend. P.S people I'm a long time local and Joey's had a bad rep because of before owners. I know I'm one of them. Was skeptical to try again!. Best thing I have done in a long time. Try it once and you will see the 150% improvement to the name us locals used to KNOW! Good job to the new owner's, please don't let the quality slip like past owners! :-) Highly say go order some...

Iv lived in this erea for 4+ yrs please everyone that has left reviews prior may 22 delete your comments this is under new management now we all have to give them ago ha! Every 2nd week l buy a supreme with anchovies it comes with full size prawns and everything else it looks great and tastes great! for only $10 this restaurant won't skimp because it's only $10 they set the price for the consumer not so they can rip us off and eventually close up so yes l believe all comments written prior may 22 shld be deleted,love you...
