I honestly donât know where to begin with this disastrous cafĂ©. From the moment I walked in, it was clear this place was a nightmare. The atmosphere was depressing, with flickering lights and a strange, musty smell that lingered in the air, like a combination of old socks and burnt toast. It was like they were trying to make the place feel "vintage," but it just came off as filthy and neglected.
The service was horrendous. The barista was so disinterested that I wondered if they were being forced to work here against their will. I asked for a simple cappuccino, and it took 20 minutes to be served â not because they were busy, but because they seemed to be completely clueless about what they were doing. When it finally arrived, it looked like theyâd just dumped some milk into a mug and added a squirt of instant coffee. No froth, no flavor, just a lukewarm mess.
Donât even get me started on the food. I ordered a croissant, and Iâm pretty sure it was a week-old piece of rubber disguised as pastry. It was so stale, I had to question if they were recycling food from last month. I couldnât even finish it; it was like chewing on cardboard.
To top it off, the place was overcrowded with no seating, and the noise level was unbearable. People were cramped in like sardines, all trying to avoid being hit by the random bursts of heat coming from the broken air conditioner.
Honestly, this cafĂ© is the embodiment of everything thatâs wrong with the world. I donât care if they were the last cafĂ© on Earth â Iâd rather brew my own coffee at home than set foot in this disaster zone again. Save your time, money, and sanity. Avoid this place...

Itâs so good to see another quality cafe in Frankston and this one offers something different from all the others who each in turn offer something different. We had the simple but hearty mince on toast with hash browns and my better half had enjoyed the clean and zingy flavours of chilli beans with lime and almond rice. Thereâs a substantial kids menu too which the kids enjoyed with pancakes and burgers just two options. From a drinks point of view, if youâre not a coffee drinker - the Bounty hot chocolate is a winner. We couldnât try everything today - but weâll be back for more. There are some unique British touches from the chef like a bacon butty, and a man eating the chicken burger next to us looked very happy with his purchase. The specials board too is varied and intriguing (including a risotto burger). Weâll be back! The only small issue is the way the door opens - read the signs and get the staff...
