Spent $420 here last night. Waited 45minutes for a table which is fine. It was busy. I understand. Had to literally force my guests to sit on a dirty table as they were seating other people who came after us, first. So we just went and sat on a table that was free. No choice. Asked the waitresses to clear our table of the dirty dishes from the previous customers 3x. No response. We stacked the plates ourselves and were about to take it to them ourselves as well. No water was given despite asking twice. Waited for our drinks for 30mins before going up to the counter and getting it ourselves. Again after asking twice. Food was actually served to us on paper plates and plastic glasses. I’m actually shocked and appalled to know I’m spending this much money only to be given food on 50cent plates. Waitresses are walking around with their long hair open in the dining area. All clueless. All gathered in the counter area with zero attention to the guests and just laughing with a restaurant full of people. Can only imagine what their stance on OH&S is. Food was not too bad. But definitely not worth the hype. Especially after being told by the wait staff that we sat at the table without authorisation. Honestly, zero organisation, zero service, subpar hygiene and pretty much not worth my money. Extremely disappointed with Kasba. I heard a lot of good things and unfortunately did not meet my standards. A Dhaba in India has better service than what this was....
Read moreVisited for a potential family dinner on 30th Nov. This is probably the worst feedback I have given to any Indian restaurant ever. The reason for it is that there wasn’t any scope left for even 0.5 anywhere. Especially when the staff starts being rude to another one, prepping cutlery in the basket with loud bangs out of anger, this tops all excuses and reveals how badly the staff would be treated by higher management. Food was bad- Afghani tikka- cold and terrible. Green chutney in tikka platter had a hair strand falling from the cutlery on table. The staff said sorry and picked up chutney, saying that the hair was in chutney so replacing it. Thank god the tikka was cold so we could ask for replacement, otherwise we were to finish that one only. Service seemed pressured, the supervisor (the senior lady) herself was the one being rude to her other team member at the service board right next to our table. She appeared stressed and it was felt all the way through until our exit, just after that chicken tikka, beer and mocktails.
Such suffocating environments in food industry must seize to exist or miraculous changes need to happen.
Don’t know how it has managed to achieve 4.4 star ratings yet, it’s super surprising and misleading at all ends.
It was our first and last time here, suggest that it never happens to any family...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Kasba, an Indian restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Chicken Tikka Masala, a Non-Veg Platter, Malai Kofta, and Dal Makhni.
The Chicken Tikka Masala was outstanding, with tender chicken pieces in a rich, creamy sauce that had the perfect balance of spices. The Non-Veg Platter was a great choice, offering a variety of meats that were all well-cooked and flavorful. Each item on the platter was distinct and showcased different spices and cooking techniques.
The Malai Kofta was another highlight. The koftas were soft and flavorful, and the creamy sauce complemented them beautifully. The Dal Makhni was also excellent, with a deep, smoky flavor that made it a comforting dish.
The service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyable experience. Kasba is definitely a place I would recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic...
