Keif Restaurant and Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I made a reservation for my birthday last night and from when I began planning I was met with warmth and support - I had expressed it was my first time planning a night out and paying for everyone and from the start I was supported in terms of planning for my big group and finding the best and most suitable options. Service was great everyone was so kind and patient at no point did we feel like we were a burden (big group =lots of things to cater for) . Chef Huda’s food was absolutely phenomenal and this is coming from someone who’s always skeptical when it comes to trying home meals at restaurants and honestly her food tasted like it was made at home so delicious and full of flavour did not lack anything at all. Amo Amjad the owner was very hospitable and took care of every detail so the whole experience was the most stress free I’ve experienced . The overall atmosphere of the shop was amazing I felt like I was back home overseas and overall I lost track of time and was so sad to leave when the night came to an end. I will 100% be back and definitely recommend for any one who wants the ambience of the middle eastern cafes or wants to try...

After an early dinner we came here (8–9pm) just for dessert and tea/coffee, and it was so pleasant!

Between four people we ambitiously shared the Karak Pistachio Tiramisu (huge portion, fresh and luxuriously creamy, with just a little bite), the Rozz Bilaban rice pudding (fresh and sweet, with a little texture to the rice) and the Knafeh Nabulseyeh (amazing flavour/texture combo of crispy, chewy and syrupy). We loved everything and kept saying “just one more spoonful” for many spoonfuls.

Drinks were good too. We liked the Turkish coffee. I was pleased to see they have Gaza Cola here. 🇵🇸❤️

Service was friendly and attentive; staff were delightful. We sat in the shisha lounge area at the back on some comfy couches. It wasn’t too busy or noisy, and lights were quite bright, but maybe we were just there early.

Open till late, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy great food, great company, and great vibes.
