Pho Super Bowl is an absolute gem when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
To start our a key culinary adventure, we couldn't resist ordering the Salt and Pepper Crispy Chicken Wings. These delectable wings were perfectly seasoned, boasting a crispy exterior that gave way to tender, juicy meat. The flavors danced on our taste buds, leaving us craving for more.
Moving on to the main course, we opted for the Grilled Chicken Medium and the Sliced Beef and Brisket Pho. The Grilled Chicken was a true delight, with its succulent and perfectly charred meat. The flavors were well-balanced, and the chicken remained incredibly moist. It was a dish that showcased the skillful mastery of the chefs.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Sliced Beef and Brisket Pho. This aromatic rice noodle soup, which is the national dish of Vietnam, was a revelation. The broth was rich, fragrant, and packed with layers of flavor. The tender slices of beef and brisket melted in our mouths, while the fresh herbs and bean sprouts added a refreshing touch. It was a bowl of pure comfort and satisfaction.
What truly sets Pho Super Bowl apart is the emphasis on freshness in their cuisine. Each dish was prepared with care, using high-quality ingredients that showcased the vibrant flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. The portions were generous, ensuring that we left with satisfied appetites.

Read moreWe've been coming here for the last 12 months because the restaurant is clean, food always prepared well and the pho is very tasty and not as fatty which we prefer. It was unfortunate that last weekend we took a friend out and she ended up having a long piece of hair in her bowl half way through. The restaurant offered a replacement, but who would want to continue after this? My partner went to pay and came back, me finding out that they had charged for the bowl with the hair in it. I walked up and asked the cashier, sorry did you charge the bowl of pho with the hair in it? The guy looked at me as if I was an alien.. and said 'Yes' as if nothing was wrong. He was also the guy who brought out the bowls and took the one with hair back in. Speechless.. I just gave him feedback and said this is not how to run a business, I can't believe you did charge us for that. One of the ladies (which I assume was the owner) asked what was going in on in Vietnamese and the guy just told her that we complained about having to pay for the pho with the hair in it. By this time , the lady could tell that I was fumed with anger, she told the guy 'jusr give it to them'. We walked out and told them dw we're never going back...
Read moreTried Super Bowl Pho & Bun Bo Hue after a friend recommended it as a must-visit for BBH, but I found it a bit underwhelming overall.
The broth came out hot, which is always a good start, and had a sweet base with a light chilli flavour — would’ve personally liked a bit more kick, but you can add extra chilli yourself.
The meat in the soup was quite chewy, not as tender as you’d expect compared to pho, and the noodles were thinner than other BBH spots — I usually prefer a thicker noodle, but that’s personal preference. Portion-wise, the regular serve felt light, with more soup than anything else.
Highlight for me was the dumpling/meat pocket — almost like a fried dumpling and actually quite tasty.
All up, it didn’t hit the mark for me, especially with some other great BBH spots around Melbourne. Still, not a bad intro if you’re curious about Bun Bo Hue and...
