Absolutely horrible service from the beginning we were ignored for 10 minutes even though their was a couple who were in front of us who got there maybe a minute prior to us they were served instantly and left with their food all within minutes, my boyfriend and I waited patiently for approximately 10 minutes as we understood it’s a public holiday and they may not have enough staff on. Eventually we were served by a female who was nice and friendly however the young male at the front didn’t even want to acknowledge us he didn’t look busy. A group of males entered the store and immediately the same male who ignored us for 10 minutes instantly served the male group happily and attentively. Another young female from the back packed our order but completely got it wrong to clarify our simple order we ordered a Go bucket with nuggets but received popcorn chicken, I ordered a kids meal and specified coleslaw but she packed chips and showed her anger by throwing the wrongly ordered chips across the room. I said thank you and gave her a kind smile as she got me the coleslaw I actually ordered but acted cold and rudely. I have worked in food and hospitality a lot of my working career mainly focusing in management and this was absolutely appalling customer service she should be re trained or maybe customer service isn’t for her and she should reconsider her job choice. This happened approximately at 2:50 to 3pm on the 26th of December 2022. My advice is management should really reconsider who they put on the front because this has ruined our experience with this store but also the KFC company. We've been coming here for a little while now and usually use the drive through. Nearly everytime we get home, our order is missing (forgotten) some items and we end up having to drive all the way back to get the missing items from KFC Mentone. By the time we get home, our food is cold and well, we've lost our appetite.
We've stopped using the drive through in the last month and have started going into the restaurant so that we can make sure that we've gotten everything before we go home.
Today took the cake! We were served burnt chicken.
KFC isn't cheap and for $50 my food shouldn't be burnt!
I expected better KFC Mentone! You've got a bunch of kids (literally) who need further training and supervision.
KFC Squad don't bother responding. We're done with you. Your apology and stock standard response means nothing. Yep we're not coming back to KFC Mentone or to any of your other restaurants. Yeah I know, you will say that you want to make it right etc. but in reality, you won't. You clearly can't! We have complained so many times and nothing changes. (Maybe its our fault? Maybe we should have quit you guys after the second stuff up. Looking at the number of orders we've placed through your app, we've given you 39 chance to be better. (We've placed orders even before the app was available). We've had faith in you guys, yes we have, but alas you incompetent jokers have missed the mark everytime......)

As a customer we spent hours getting used to the app trying to support KFC and the app constantly lets me down it won’t check out and fails - what’s worse is KFC as a company do not give their store managers authority to even approve an “app order” in store. When the app fails it tells you to “please go in store” so you drive all the way to KFC having just wasted half an hour at home placing a large family order order online specifically - and the manager says “we can’t give you what it is that you have ordered online because we don’t have it on our machine“. So after all that the manager cannot override anything to approve your order at the price that you have in your check out on the app. Often it’s a special deal they spam you all day with emails about all the special products you go to order it - it doesn’t work - you go in store and they refuse to even give it to you. Get it together KFC I just took my entire family elsewhere as you let us down yet again! It’s not hard you simply at the very least give your store manages the authority to approve the checkout that has been made on the app. That’s it at least then when the app fails you can still provide acceptable...
