KFC Woodgrove — Restaurant in Melbourne

20/03/24 walked in with my client and left my sitting on the table and went and ordered first food on the computer than changed my mind from r the first ordered and put in another order in. I paid for the order and than realised that I have paid for two meals that I didn’t removed the first order so I ran quickly to the counter and spoke with the girl serving and told her that I have made a mistake that I want refund for one of my meals she asked me to wait she went at the back and came back and asked me to wait that she will get back to me. I waited and waited she served some other customers. She went at the back and come back again after waiting about 15 minutes. She said; my manager said no she can’t do refund the meals has been made or already prepared. I said; but how I have asked you straight away when the mistake was made and you’ve told me to wait can I speak with your manager please she said yes. Manager came and just stand there I said yes please I just wanted my refund as I mistakenly ordered two meals please. She said no the food has been made there’s no refund and there’s nothing I can do about it you made a mistake is your problem. I said well i can’t eat two meals I guess i will leave it here. As I left my client eating and my colleague waiting for me to order his food too after a long day I was really disappointed you know ,every time we go to woodgrove KFC always our favourite place you know my clients and my work colleagues we all ordered KFC the fact that we always come with different clients we all love KFC, I was really disappointed . I went back quickly and explained what happened and because he wanted something different I allowed him ordered his food from KFC he was disappointed too and said go and get the food you ordered just take it home cause we work hard for our money we can’t just let someone do that go please so I went and get the two meals. The service was alright. Not the best but alright. That’s the same thing as the atmosphere. But the COOK. Omg that amazing, handsome cook. His name was Harley and my god he was by far the most amazing cook I’ve ever experienced at any store. Bro was actually the Gordon Ramsay of KFC. If it wasn’t for him I would’ve 100% given the store a 1 star but because Harley was so amazing I’m giving the store a 5. I was just standing there watching him piece everything together to the most minimalistic detail and thinking “…..wow….look at him go”. And when he put the chicken away when it came up I could tell it was going to be the best thing I’d ever eaten. I never come back again. I ordered the dinner for my family from KFC app. The chickens was overcooked and burnt. I brought the chickens back and saw the manager. She explained they were not burnt, and explained it s just the colour of oil, and refused to give me a new ones as she said the new ones come over with be the same color. I was disappointed, angry.
