We went to churros this afternoon, the table was very dirty, I asked the staff member(Asian girl) who was at the front to get it cleaned. She wiped it but not properly, she went back and started preparing the orders without washing her hands.

We ordered churros for two, extra churros, ham and cheese toastie, chicken and bacon toastie, and iced chocolate. Each item of our order arrived 5 to 7 minutes apart. Churros had too much icing sugar on them like they just emptied 4 to 5 spoons of sugar on top of them instead of sprinkling. Toasties were very soggy and was delivered to the table without knife and fork. We had to wait for more than 35 minutes for our iced chocolate. I had to go to the staff to ask for it, then Asian girl said they forgot about it even though she took the order. Then other staff member brought it and just put it at the table without even apologizing. And it was disgusting, couldn't even drink it, whole glass was full with chocolate syrup and ice and a bit of cream on top. We left it at the table and came out. Very disappointed as our children loves to go to churros and they go there every other week and have lunch but today they said, we are never coming here again. Rude staff I couldn't take a photo of our order because my children didn't let me do it. They are just too sensible and asked me not to post a photo and review. Place is dirty, staff inattentive. My daughter and l wanted to order some gluten free friendly gelato, but upon inspection of the small selection on offer l noticed cross contamination from the non gluten free friendly flavours by mixing scoops between all flavours into the ones reserved for (gfr) !!!! I tried to explain this to the ONLY staff member there but she was pretty incompetent about food handling skills and I'm pretty sure hasn't got a certificate (l however do!!). She seems to believe that gluten friendly gives them the right to cross contaminate scoops from other non gfr ice cream including Vegan!🤯 ...after explaining the difference and getting nowhere, l told her this can make Coeliac people sick, and nut free or other severe food allergies sufferers unwell or DEAD!!!! The restaurant industry and staff has gone downhill, and closing up for a reason!! YOU HAVE A DUTY OF CARE otherwise DON'T GET INTO HOSPITALITY!!!!
