We live just a short hop away from La Perla Bar so we’re eager to check out this busy little venue with an interesting menu. Our last visit at this location was pre-covid and as a cafe but this space really works as a cosy sippy and tapas style venue.
Some of your not seen everyday wine by the glass and cocktails too. We had a zesty house made Limoncello Spritz.
The menu really surprised. It was short but there were so many tasty morsels that we hadn’t tried before, that we just loved.
Recommend literally all of the antipasti and especially the anchovy doughnuts and the crispy Carta di musica flatbread.
We had the pumpkin pizza and topping just magically worked but it was the crust that impresse us with a little char and lovely bite.

The service was friendly and attentive but it was not worth the price and the few annoying things that happened...

The cocktails list spares you the pain of infinite-scrolling. We sampled ‘Southside’ and ‘One night in Johannesburg.' Both were winners.
The meat-plate for two was a great starter as a conversation sidepiece. The legit crunchy-on-the-bottom fluffy-on-top pizza hit the spot. A side of roasted broccoli, also from the wood fired oven was delicious, leaving just enough room to order a tiramisu for dessert.
There is enough on the refined menu to keep most people happy. Staff are knowledgeable about ingredients and wine pairings.
The vibe balances mood lighting and funky tunes, while retaining a nod to the building's...
