This place what make it so special even though the food has Thailand products and ingredients in their food🇹🇭
The owner of the store wanted to not scare off the Australian people with his menu so he made sure he added some special touch by making his menu more like a western style but still have all those Thailand feel to the dish so the Australian people can see those common vegetables and ingredients used rather then putting ingredients that isn't popular as it can scare off those whom haven't try Thai food before which is why I love this food so much is because they care so much about what they want to put in their menu and ingredients so it worth checking this place out they also support emergency workers by giving them a huge discount 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
Definitely for those people whom often don't like Asian food so much or if you haven't try Thai food before and want to see what the taste is is like with a twist of western style in the dish it might be more appealing for giving it a try knowing it's not so hardcore Asian food at this Thailand restaurant...
Read more2 dishes: 1 Not bad, 1 Very disappointing. My Spicy Flat noodle with beef was not at all spicy. Where was the chilli? And it was waaay too sweet. I added soy sauce to counteract this sweetness. Otherwise, it tasted not too bad. The beef and vegetables were nice and fresh, basil was added at my request, the serving size was decent and the waitress was nice. However! The dish my adult son received really was substandard. Vegetarian noodles (TOFU and VEGETABLES) with hardly any vegetables and a serving size that was at least a 3rd smaller than mine - so a smallish serving. I’d sure to know why the servings were so disproportionate? I’m wondering if Maruay Thai Cafe is one of those places (which I’ve come across before) that gives male diners noticeably bigger servings than female diners. I’m wondering if they just assumed the Vego...
Read moreI tried this restaurant twice, whilst the curries were flavoursome they were lacking in ingredients, most notably meat. A duck curry would have maybe 10 slices of duck and make no mistake when I say slice I mean slice, not large pieces of breast or thigh.
With their other curry selections you’d have to select and pay extra for protein, again with a beef curry you’d expect chunks of stewed tender pieces. Again disappointed with slices of beef which I seldom came across when adding the dish to my rice.
This could be forgiven if the restaurant was priced lower than $25~ a dish, I doubt I will return to this...
