EDIT: I have emailed, and followed up, I haven’t got a response. This place only cares about status and what they look like to the public, they do not care about resolving any issues. I have not been offered a refund.
Been wanting to post a review about this for months but sadly kept giving this place more chances. It’s the same thing every time we come, 2 large lattes and 2 cheese and tomato toasted crossaints, and every single time there is an issue. At the beginning we got given ham and cheese crossaints we had to take back 3 days in a row, eventually giving up with this and just calling then and letting them know it’s not acceptable. Then we came back, and had ordered and saw them taking ham out of a pre-made crossaint, we asked if they could make it fresh as we are vegetarian and this was an issue with the staff. Lucky the area manager was in this day and apologised and we had explained how literally every single day we come here there is an issue, she offered to give us a credit to which we politefully declined as we still want to support small business. Fast forward to 6 months later, we have seen countless staff come and go, sometimes we get a microwaved crossaint, sometimes toasted, sometimes cold, sometimes not toasted at all, sometimes in a bag, sometimes in a box, sometimes cut in half. Either way it is not the way it used to be and I feel as though the staff are just having a laugh with me now. This is what I received today - after the prices you guys charge you can actually be okay to give this out to customers? Are you actually okay? I have not been wanting to shame you guys but I have had enough, it’s an absolute joke. Read moreThe Langwarrin General Store Cafe has become our absolute lifeline! Since our son Isaac was born two and a half years ago, we've been regulars, practically greeting the sunrise there. And now, with our little Sasha (6 months) joining the morning crew, our appreciation for this place has only grown. What truly sets this cafe apart is the incredible staff. Watching them interact with Isaac and Sasha is heartwarming. They remember our orders, greet the kids with genuine smiles, and always go the extra mile to make our mornings smooth and enjoyable. Juggling a toddler and a baby during the early hours can be challenging, but the staff's kindness and patience make it feel effortless.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is delicious. But honestly, it's the people who make this place special. They've become a crucial part of our daily routine, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found such a gem in our community.

Read moreGenerally okay, but majority of the young staff there are so rude. I have stopped going every few days because you leave there feeling like an inconvenience to people who's job it is to make you feel welcome.
God forbid I ask for something more than a coffee if I get one of the sad annoyed girls.
I think there are maybe two really lovely ladies and the others act as if you have asked them to do something so out of the realm of their job description.... sorry that's AFTER they ignore you for the first 2 minutes you are standing in the store.
