Stop the Feedback from some of the Clueless Musicians with really Bad Sounds Out Of Tune Guitars...turning the PA up full blast and the horrific feedback....and its 5 stars. The Level of Feedback is a real OHS issue and could damage a Punter's Ears....easily.

As for the rest of the Bar...thank God you split the "Smoker's Area" in Half! As it was supposedly for "outdoor dining." Now the very...very back is for smokers. And with some nice screening to stop passive smoke hitting you as you eat. And now You Can Eat Outside! The New Owners have a Great Setup PA and Far...Far Better Food. The Room is just perfect for Moderate to Loud Rock...but rein in the guys with amps on 10. The PA is loud enough for electronic acts and using for Amp Simulator DI pedals...it can really sound like a fat old loud home Stereo room full blast.

Just be proactive and end it, clueless idiots tuening everything on ten was horrific...and Set The PA Up Once mark the board, and Police anyone just turning the board up. The Board should be set up and real guitar amps only as loud as to match a live Drummer.

If you love to sing or play or make people laugh, this place is so welcoming, and everyone is so supportive. We had the best night watching raw local and not so local talented peeps jam in their flow. (Including my daughter!) Everyone was inclusive and friendly. It was 2018- pre covid, happy, vibe feel. We had calamari and chips, standard fare but delicious when hungry and so fairly priced. We have had the pleasure to run the afternoon gig from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm as Elwood Blues Club every Sunday for the last three years and hope to continue into the future. Management and staff are nothing but superb and we always have a great night at The Lyrebird Lounge.We ( as musicians) and the public love this place. It is renowned to be a great music room and we can definitely vouch for that. Thank you Lyrebird Lounge for having us....
