I have eaten at this place twice. They do cater for vegans and vegetarians which is great and the main reason I would suggest people to try them - I believe the owners are vegetarian or vegan. When I have gone in to the restaurant the staff are always very nice and friendly. However there opening hours and business model is very strange. They virtually never answer there phone when I've tried to ring - both during business hours, and at other non-business hours to as I was keen to eat there one week, and simply couldn't get them to answer there phone at any time and/or day. The opening hours are also like this. They are frequently shut early or fail to open at all! And this can be on any given day, Weeknights and/or weekends, and when I finally turned up in person one day when the restaurant was open during their listed there business hours, (as mentioned before it's frequently shut during what I would think would be there peak hours of business with no one answer the phones, and no sign left on the closed restaurant), and when I was finally able to enter the restaurant when it was open and staffed the staff deny the phones aren't answered or that they were closed during advertised business hours the previous night when I had called first to order, and eventually went down in person to eat in and it was closed with no reason given to why this was on the shop front. It was closed at 6pm and still at 7pm on a weeknight they listed as part of their opening hours, this also happened another occasion on a Saturday night when i wanted to eat there as well - surely that would be there peak business trading day and hours? The staff were never rude to me when I asked as to why there business hours were so puzzling. This review is unfinished, it's literally 3 times longer but I have reached the character limit and it won't let me write a separate review to include all my info. If I figure out how to write a longer review or a new one I will include all the strange details of...
Read moreThis friendly family business make really tasty "homestyle" comfort food. And although I'm not a vegetarian but I find myself ordering from them often. I really do love some of theses dishes! they are not heavy, oily or over salty like some places. I highy recommend the Kofta. The lentil & spinach is excellent and so is the eggplant- (both of these were a real suprise!) Avoid the paneer with chilli unless you love sweet chilli sauce (it's very sweet!)-It's not fast food but I'm guessing they make everything fresh to order and so good quality over speed - And its really not expensive! It's a little bit dull in the restaurant they could do something like play some Hari Krishna music for a bit of fun and add a...
Read moreThis very unassuming restaurant has just become my go-to place for great Indian food. I went with an Indian-Australian friend based off the google reviews and he was also impressed. The whole venue is vegetarian and about half is vegan, or vegan option available. I’m usually a meat eater but this was so good and generous serving sizes. So good that I ordered a little extra to take home to share with another friend tomorrow (when I have space for dessert). Thank you to the lovely staff. I will be back and telling friends about this place for sure. Maybe I’ll go for the...
