Mamak Rice and Noodle — Restaurant in Melbourne

After being here 3 years i decided to try the food today. Got the chili chicken, the image showed sir fried chicken with veggies, beans, and a chili sauce.

What I got was pre boiled chicken, not cooked in a wok, no green veggies but a few bits of carrot and a lot of onion. Sauce was like radioactive gravy from a packet, not much chili. It’s cheap, but i’m not. Won’t be...

I got the 'katsu curry' for lunch today. The chicken was not even crumbed. The curry sauce was watery and it didn't taste anything like a Japanese katsu curry. If you're not going to do it properly, don't call it katsu. So disappointed. Edit: to top it off, I think some of the chicken may not have been cooked properly so now I'm worried about getting...

4 stars go to the ultra budget friendly chicken wings and nibblets that are spicey and deep fried. The noodles are also amazing when cooked to order. Many meals over the years have never dissapointed...
