Surprisingly good ....

New apartment, retail & office development, Polaris on Plenty Road, Reservoir.

Small, bright, quite airy and fitted adequately, some chairs are already showing wear & tear. Outside tables on the footpath are available too.

On the Food-side, we've ordered;

$16 Seafood Crispy Egg Noodles; well cooked/not burnt noodles, taste just right, good portion.

$12 Canh Bun Oc (thick rice noodles with tomatoes, shrimp and crab paste soup), even better, unique broth taste (from it's paste), aromatic, not pungent like some crab paste,

Pleasant & tentative service.

You can't go wrong here for around/under...

Just order my door dash, extremely disappointed with the dice beef with tomato rice. We ordered 3 serves and all 3 serves looks like they had 10-12 pieces of 1cm cubes tiny chewy beef in it. The box ratio is like 3/4 rice 1/4 meat with lots of vegi in it. The broken rice is good. Just stick with that one. Nothing else is decent. The sad thing is I got my college to order with me on DoorDash too, I tried it yesterday before I order today just to make sure. And yesterday the broken rice with the lot is much nicer. Will not order from...

We had lunch at Pho 999 yesterday (15/12/24) afternoon. The food was terrible and disgusting. We ordered a fried rice, a Nasi Goreng, a pork soup, a beef meal with vegetables and a won tong as an entrée. This is the worst Vietnamese food we ever had and we even told the girl behind the register. Surprisingly she just smiled and did not even apologize. The fried rice tasted fishy and the pork soup had foul meat in it and Nasi Goreng did not have any taste. We would not go back to this...
