McDonald's — Restaurant in Melbourne

(Disclaimer: the review is of this particular McDonald’s as opposed to McDonald’s as a whole) I don’t get to McDonald’s very often but they definitely have the worst service of those I go to in my area (Wantirna, Ringwood, Croydon and Mooroolbark) with regards to order accuracy (in the drive through at least; never been in store). Can honestly say I can’t remember them getting my order correct unless it’s a standard order item off the menu. Normally I don’t mind too much if for example they give me coke instead of another soft drink or the wrong sauce with my nuggets (or even forgetting serviettes which is probably more annoying than the former two examples). However, tonight I ordered a double quarter pounder with added bacon in a large meal and a cappuccino as the drink. By the time I’d left all I had was a regular quarter pounder and the fries (at least they were large). After collecting my paper bag I had to ask where my coffee was, to which I was told to make my way down to the next window (presumably a new addition). Unfortunately there was no one there (nor did anyone even appear prior to me leaving) and the last window was close enough that my vehicle was blocking the cars behind me from exiting the drive through. In the end I was forced to drive forwards into the car park to let cars through, then reverse back to allow vehicles to pass each other in the car park. After the third car I thought the situation was beginning to become ridiculous and normally I would have just pulled into a waiting bay and let them sort it out, however it had been cordoned off for construction works (and the adjacent car parks were full) so I ultimately decided to cut my...

Really quite disappointed visiting here, the wait was really quite long which is ok as that can just be bad timing but we held up the whole drive thru for at least 5 minutes or more which doesn't sound like much but is if we just got a breakfast meal each my husband and I. I would have been happy to wait in the waiting bay or pulling forward to the McCafe window but there was noone at our window for more than a second and she just asked if we had the mighty muffin and sausage and egg grill meals then walked away with a rolling of her eyes so I didn't even get to say can I pull forward. The main reason for my bad score is that I ordered a no cheese sausage and egg with extra egg and got a normal sausage and egg muffin, I used to work at Macca's it isn't hard to check, use a grill slip or at least file the muffin up in an inside-out wrapper! I'm going to sound so picky but I asked for no cheese not just because I don't like it but because I'm not supposed to eat it at the moment. But because I was driving I didn't get to eating it until we were about a 10 minutes drive away and again if I could of just picked it out fine but the cheese fully melts on the muffin top and into the meat. Our Chai's were delicious though so thank you! I have filled in at this Macca's before a few years ago and know that we could've at least driven to that McCafe window and waited for the food there instead of holding up the morning's drive-thru for not even the correct meal! Wow apologies for the long review it's just really disappointing a simple meal should've been simple to get right and I did pay for the extra egg that I didn't get...

This McDonald's never gets the order right... it's our local McDonald's and honestly I'm better off driving to ringwood or kilsyth. This review is based off a good 10 years of let down. One main thing they get wrong is mccafe orders , lemonade as soda water, no sauce with nuggets, no maple syrup with hot cakes, never fill chips up. Most recently I order an iced late and ask for extra sugar syrup and usually I get none. I think they see sugar syrup and maybe assume it means leave it out?! I don't no, but honestly it's everytime. I stopped ordering from them all together but today decided to give it another go, at the ordering point I said extra, at the paying window I confirmed EXTRA, when the girl handed me the drink, I asked does it have extra syrup in it? She said, it should..but I could tell it had none, as you can see it at the bottom and there was none! It's incredibly frustrating as I need sugar to be able to drink it, and now I can't. The restaurant is usually clean and when going in the staff are usually very busy and ignore you if you want to order at the counter, iv been asked to use the machine, even though i tell them im paying cash, so i order on the machine and then have to wait at counter being ignored to actually pay for my order. Its a joke really. but honestly it's known to locals as being so bad at orders and the counter thing.

Often soda water not lemonade (so have to taste before moving) that's how often it's happened, forgetting the maple syrup on hot cakes happened a week ago, honestly it's so bad. Just avoid it......
