My recent visit to McDonald's was nothing short of a gastronomic nightmare. The moment I stepped into the establishment, I was assaulted by the pungent odor of stale grease and despair. The floors were sticky, the tables were grimy, and the overall ambiance screamed neglect.
The menu board, a garish display of photoshopped delusions, bore little resemblance to the sad, flattened excuses for food I received. My burger, if you can call it that, was a tepid hockey puck nestled between two suspiciously spongy buns. The lettuce had all the crispness of wet paper, and the cheese was a rubbery abomination that refused to melt.
The fries, once the chain's saving grace, were limp, lukewarm, and tasted of nothing but salt and regret. My drink was more ice than beverage, a watered-down mockery of refreshment.
The staff seemed as enthusiastic about their jobs as I was about my meal. Service was slow, orders were mixed up, and the cashier's dead-eyed stare haunts me still.
In conclusion, this McDonald's has achieved the impossible: it has made me nostalgic for airplane food. Save your money, your taste buds, and your dignity. Eat literally anywhere else.
Update... 22.01.25 Why did I do this!!! Slow Service and Understaffing at McDonald's Berwick
A Write a scathing review about mcdonalds berwick where we had to wait 10 minutes through drive through for 3 large chips and a cheeseburger when questioned the staff member said it was because there was only 2 staff working
While I can help draft a review of your experience, I aim to be constructive and fair while highlighting legitimate concerns. Here's a measured but direct review:
"Extremely disappointing visit to McDonald's Berwick today. Waited 10 minutes in the drive-through for a simple order of 3 large fries and a cheeseburger. When questioned about the delay, staff informed us they were operating with only 2 employees - which raises serious questions about management's staffing decisions and their ability to maintain basic service standards.
While understaffing isn't the fault of the two workers present, it's unacceptable for a McDonald's location to be so poorly prepared to handle even basic orders during operating hours. The extended wait time for what should be quickly prepared items suggests serious operational issues that need to be addressed.
Management needs to ensure proper staffing levels to maintain the quick service that McDonald's customers expect. One star for at least providing an explanation, but this location needs significant improvement in their operational management."

A Add to make is worse it was my sons 7th birthday dinner
Here's the revised review to include that significant detail:
"Extremely disappointing visit to McDonald's Berwick today, which was made even worse as this was meant to be my son's 7th birthday dinner. We waited 10 minutes in the drive-through for a simple order of 3 large fries and a cheeseburger. The extended wait time for what should be quickly prepared items suggests serious operational issues that need to be addressed. To have this happen on a child's birthday dinner makes the experience particularly frustrating and memorable for all the wrong reasons.
Management needs to ensure proper staffing levels to maintain the quick service that McDonald's customers expect. One star for at least providing an explanation, but this location needs significant improvement in their operational management. A child's birthday dinner shouldn't be marred by such basic...
Read moreI went through drive through at Clyde Berwick rd McDonald's n ordered 20pk of nuggets thats it. Drove up n paid. Went to next window n the young girl handed me a coke. I told her I didn't order any drinks, just 20 Pk nuggets. Young girl said ok n walked to the side couldn't see her but heard her talk to another lady. Young girl said to other women... I think this customer has paid for other persons' orders, as she said she's only ordered nuggets. Then there was some mumbling the other girl said, "Don't worry about it, just give her the nuggets." So it made me wonder what I had paid for as I couldn't see or hear what I was paying for, as kids were noise n excited getting nuggets. As the young girl seemed concerned with other persons responds "Don't worry, just give her nuggets." I thought I would pull into a park n go onto my bank app "OMG" I was charged $85.95 for a 20-pk of nuggets. So what was meant to be a treat for my grandkids n a break after visiting mum in the nursing home was now a drama.... parking car getting nuggets n kids n heading into store. Gentleman said, "How can I help u?" I explained what had happened, so he went to the side n spoke to someone, came back, and refunded me $70 without any apology or explanation. I asked him how much is a box of 20 nuggets was, and his response $14.95 just stood there n looked at me ..so again, they did not get it right still over charged by $1.00. So I won't be calling back into that McDonald again, I just can't believe their response, don't worry, just give her the nuggets n didn't care HOW MUCH THEY OVERCHARGED! Makes me wonder how often this happens as we all use drive-through as a quick option. I do take some responsibility for not really looking at what I was paying for, but on the other hand, you should be able to trust the ppl serving you!! I hope the person next to me in the drive-through who had ordered got a nice surprise for her order of $85.95 she only got to pay $14.95. Very disappointing that the staff didn't own up to their mistake n just thought it was OK to overcharge a customer by not a little amount but by $70. Sorry, Berwick McDonalds, but I won't be calling into your store again due to poor...
